  1. To my knowledge I have never heard of a manufacturer that claimed the warranty period starts the second it leaves their doors. I always figured it was understood it started from the date of purchase by the consumer. Then agian, there is a reason alot fewer places do any business with Arsenal anymore, either. Frankly thats a level of bull#### I have never seen before.
  2. This title is very misleading.
  3. +1 to this. Other than that, just relax as best you can. If you havent already put a solid plan in place with your wife in case it happens agian or something else does do so now when you recover. Having a plan in and of itself will ease your mind more than most things.
  4. I find this thread both amusing and..... troubling.
  5. Man, I havent heard that in a long time hahaha.
  6. I usually have it up at work, refresh the page constantly.
  7. Happy that you guys got one. I expect a range report soon!
  8. We got every model of these in stock as of today.
  9. One of the questions on the 4473 form is "Have you ever been convicted of a crime of domestic violence?" Whether it is expunged or not, if the answer is yes unfortunately you cannot purchase a firearm. If you just answer no even if convicted and later expunged, the ATF could consider that lying on a federal form which is a whole nother set of issues. That is how I see it, but I'm sure there are other thoughts on the matter. Edit: As an afterthought, if expunged it never happened in the eyes of the law? I'm not well versed in such things.
  10. Fulins in Hendersonville had pretty good sushi last time I went. They are down from Indian Lake, in the little shopping center next to Carrabas.
  11. My Uzi model B is self aware. Calling it anything other than Uzi brings its wrath.
  12. Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.
  13. We need a rant specific sub-forum. However, I need to blow off some steam so... I answered a phone call at the shop today. It was a gentleman that had "heard" we had a "AK Pistol" and wanted to know what the price was. No problem. I go looking. We apparently have no such Draco/creature in the shop at the moment. So I pick the phone back up and tell him we didnt have such an animal. He begins to argue with me about whether I actually looked or not. I assured him that we indeed did not have one and whomever told him we did was mistaken. He then inquired about ordering one. I told him all Draco pistols are allocated and thus are a backorder item and have no solid eta on when we would be getting one in the store, but that he was more than welcome to put in a special order on one (with no money down, I might add) if he wanted to put his name in for it. Agian, he began to argue about not having an eta on one, as he's ordered ammo from other business and they ALWAYS have a time frame to give him. I told him that unforunately that that wasnt how the firearms industry worked most of the time, and that it was just as aggravating to us as it is to him. He then proceeds to ask me if we stocked some random thing and how much it was. By random, I mean like VD223832CCMM or some such random characters I didnt recognize. I asked him if that was a part number. Apparently, that was a mistake because he then asked if I was in the gun industry and whether or not I knew what I was doing, and proceeded to tell me that it was <insert unknown manufacturer name that may or may not even exist> and asked if I could order one anyway. I told him that no, none of my suppliers carried such gobbledygook to which he asked me if I was sure I wouldnt even look, to which I replied that I have been doing business with my wholesalers for 10+ years and know what they do and do not carry. I was losing my patience. He then asked my name and said he was going to report me to the BBB. I hate people.
  14. I dunno. Gun mags have their place but I find it hard to pay for magazines that have glowing reviews for products that I know aren't all they say they are or flat out have problems. Pretty tired of paid advertisments that are misleading.
  15. When I got to work this morning, I pulled up my I Heart Radio app, and this song was on. Kinda set the tone for the day. It was glorious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxLB8kJaFjw&feature=BFp&list=PLE0D85E09030178AC
  16. Do you have a structured settlement and need cash now?
  17. We had one, even had a full auto gun. Neither worked right. I understand that they have overhauled some of the design and fixed some of the issues they had, but imo kind of left the folks carrying them high and dry. Doubt we'll continue carrying them without a come to Jesus talk.
  18. My notifications have stopped after the third time or so.

  22. I think I almost pooped myself a little. Kinda pissed me off that he wasnt even slightly apologetic about it.
