  1. It was alot of fun and the food was awesome although I think the food slowed me a bit. You guys sitting on the fence need to come to some of these matches and show Grant some support. If more people show up to these we might end up with another place to shoot 3 gun or pistol matches.
  2. Thanks to Jack I spent way more than I had planned on the side match.
  3. I can't shoot the match but The Z and I might be able to sneak away long enough to shoot at the plate rack.
  4. LaRue, you won't be disappointed.
  5. I thought it was a "pay the day of the match" kind of match, like the one last year. I didn't know you had to pre register.
  6. Yes it does, I was really looking forward to this match.
  7. Bronker, I make a fool out of myself every match but I still have fun. You should shoot.
  8. If you missed this match then you missed a whole lot of fun. It was a blast and I hope Grant does it again.
  9. LaRue is a great company to do business with also. Great match guys!! If you're not gaming it, you're not playing the game:tough:
  10. Definatly a fun and challenging match. From the looks of the scores I need to go back to the Glock. The rifle side match was a blast also!!
  11. Looks like the weather is gonna suck but I plan on being there regardless.
  12. Welcome to the forum. I grew up in Woodlawn.
  13. The title was an attempt at humor.
  14. I found this peice of brass at the range. It looks like the weapon fired out of battery and it was not a Glock because it had a round firing pin. I thought it was interesting that the case did not rupture. If this thread is not appropriate then delete.
  15. Glock bulge?
  16. Another fun but deceptively challenging match.
  17. My 11-87 was known as the Jam-O-Matic. A great gun that I really liked but I could not get it to run 100% of the time. I now have an FN SLP mk.I, which I am completely satisfied with. IMHO the perfect shotgun for 3-gun right out of the box.
  18. I believe the Miculek is the best comp you can get for the price, it's very effective and cheap. A comp on an AR is not about reducing recoil, it's about muzzle control. A good comp will all but eliminate the typical up and to the right muzzle lift of an AR, which is obvious in the pictures Mr. F posted.
  19. It was deffinetly a good match. To bad it's only once a year.
  20. I can't wait. The weather should be perfect.
  21. I've got one you can have for $50. It came off of a Bushmaster.
  22. You can set the crimp on your seating die to take all of the bell out. You will have to run a pretty heavy crimp anyways with a big bore revolver.
  23. If you are refering to my post, my two youngest children were the ones I was refering to. They are 5 and 7 so I don't think they are up to speed on all the political issues so I think it is my job to inform them. My 14 year old supports Obama and that is her choice. I do not think it is a school teachers place to tell my 5 and 7 year old which presidental canidate is the best. That was my point.
