  1. That's the hottest ninja I've ever seen! Green is definitely the new black.
  2. "Heller's attorney, Stephen P. Halbrook, said it is "highly likely" his client will appeal the decision. " He should appeal after this gem: "In the 30-page opinion, Urbina said that the regulations aren't unduly burdensome and that the city provided "ample evidence of the ways" the registration requirements are intended to promote public safety. He noted, for instance, that authorities said the required ballistics tests will help them link bullets and shell casings found at crime scenes to the weapons used to fire them." washingtonpost.com
  3. Some serious communication problems going on in this relationship. But if she is selling this gun behind his back, I have a feeling he will have lots of "communication" with her in the very near future.
  4. This is not a fair contest at all. I'd pretend to be a homeless football player if I could stay at her house. And what's up with all these famous guys getting busted with the low hanging fruit? James, Woods, McNair?
  5. But we can count on the Dems in Congress. They have a lot to lose (especially Pelosi). Obama's smart enough to know any anti-gun legislation won't get far within his own party.
  6. Oh SNAP! "Have you no shame, sir!"
  7. Excellent response. I feel well represented.
  8. Traffic stop raises gun rights question, Mayor responds - KSLA News 12 Shreveport, Louisiana | "It's a choice of words that Mayor Glover tells KSLA News 12 he does not regret. "I'm perfectly comfortable with the conversation and what I said and and how I said it." And Shreveport City Attorney Ed Jones says the Mayor wasn't wrong. "I don't think the law ever mentions a 'suspension of rights,' like the mayor said, but what the mayor said was correct, they are suspended at that point. his right to travel down the road he was on certainly had been suspended." Baillio claims he was profiled because of the stickers on the back of his truck window. One says, "Armed We Are Citizens, Un-Armed We Are Subject!" Another says, "Celebrate Diversity," depicting an array of ammunition. "They may have played a role," agrees Jones, "but certainly if you have 'This vehicle protected by Smith & Wesson' it's legitimate question: 'Do you have a weapon in the vehicle?' "Well I answered that question honestly and he...disarmed me," says Baillio in the recorded telephone conversation, to which Glover replies, "Which would be appropriate and proper action, sir." While Baillio and his supporters clearly feel that this it was inappropriate, Jones says the law does in fact allow an officer to ask for, frisk and even search for weapons within that person's reach in the course of a traffic stop, if he has reason to believe a crime has been or is about to be committed. But this it's not the only instance in which you may not be allowed to exercise your 2nd Amendment right. In fact, there are several instances where your right to bear arms is suspended even if you possess the firearm legally have a permit to carry a concealed weapon, like in an airplane, at a school, and in any federal or municipal building. 9. I hope you meant pet peeve. Otherwise, I don't want to hear about your dog's urinary condition.
  10. Everything has a cost. I bet they didn't see this comming. Use shady tactics to help defeat restaurant carry. . . fine! But prepare to pay. I'm 100% loving this.
  11. Me too. Fortunately, from the closet, I have a perfect view of the top of the stairs. Any BG who gets upstairs will be very unhappy. I hope the blaring alarm prevents that though. If not, he must be very determined or have lots of backup, and I pray never to have that kind of enemy inside the gates. I don't think I have an adequate defense plan against a suicide hit-squad.
  12. Perfect time for a MONTAGE! WWRD? = What Would Rocky Do?
  13. Colbert explains it through. . . satire. rawstory.com/2010/02/colbert-palin-retard/
  14. They're lucky to get a yearly check from me. I'm a stingy SOB.
  15. "Deploy" is much more tactical anyway. I utilize that word every chance I get.
  16. Despite his high-pitched voice & childlike demeanor, MJ was no wuss and certainly no fool. He was wealthy & powerful, and he knew it. If he wanted a particular drug, then you were going to give it to him or he would easily find someone else who would. This doctor didn't want to let morality stand in the way of an easy & profitable gig. Now, he's going to pay. I have a feeling when it's all over we'll see that: 1. MJ knew more about every medication he used than this "doctor" did. 2. The doc should have just said, "Sorry, I cannot be a part of this." and walked away. 3. MJ was paying this guy a boatload of $$$. A deal many couldn't refuse. 4. The doc wasn't really qualified to provide the care MJ needed, but he was qualified to provide the drugs MJ wanted.
  17. I've had a bad experience or 2 with cops and at one point in my life, I was all about "F the Police!" But, I ended up having to deal with several cops in a former career and learned that most are just regular people who want to get home safely. Heck, once in an unfamiliar part of town, late at night, I was driving the wrong way on an unlit side street and nearly had a head-on collision with a Metro cop. I thought I was getting a ticket at the very least. But, with a smile on his face, he was more concerned about how I was. We both laughed about it and went our separate ways. So there's a good story.
  18. Wasn't what I expected, but still good. I recommend it for a popcorn muncher. I don't see myself wanting to see it again & again like Blackhawk Down. And DO NOT use this movie on date night. It will not get her "in the mood."
  19. Why do they do this crap after Christmas and before tax time? It's like they're saying, "I DOUBLE DARE you to have money for this sale!!! LOL!!"
  20. Wel, I AM Batman! And I agree with you completely. If the exit is closer to me and my family/friends than the shooter, then it's time to get us all out of there and unholster the cell phone. And BTW, I stopped watching Nutnfancy when his gun/knife reviews went from a brief & informative 10 minutes to 40 minutes of talking points this, talking points that. I mean REALLY? A 40 minute Youtube video about a knife???
  21. Very true. Absolutely no weapons of any kind allowed anywhere on Vandy campus. Especially with someone like this on campus. I should've mentioned that. Certainly seems worth it to me. Reminds me of seeing Bush at a Notre Dame commencement. VERY tight security as one can imagine.
  22. Even black people don't like BET. YouTube - Boondocks BET Diss [bANNED FROM TV]
  23. For those interested in hearing Gen. Petraeus speak/answer questions, and it's free: Gen. David H. Petraeus to speak at Vanderbilt - Vanderbilt University: myVU Interesting wiki fact: "Upon promotion to lieutenant colonel, Petraeus moved from the office of the Chief of Staff to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where he commanded the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)'s 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment from 1991-1993. As battalion commander of the Iron Rakkasans, he suffered one of the more dramatic incidents in his career when, in 1991, he was accidentally shot in the chest during a live-fire exercise when a soldier tripped and his rifle discharged. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee, where he was operated on by future U.S. Senator Bill Frist. The hospital released him early after he did fifty push ups without resting, just a few days after the accident." Interesting article on the soldier who shot him: Pass It Along by Michael Yon on National Review Online=
  24. After seeing this last week: . . . I have to go with "Who Cares." Jack Bauer in a friggin' dress. My spirit is BROKEN!
