Since I stopped carrying my G19 a couple years ago, I felt comfortable messing around with the innards.   I've been wondering that too.  McD's would be the lowest of low hanging fruit and would quickly fall like Micheal Jordan's baseball career.  Unlike Chipotle and Target, they've actually had the lion's share of armed robberies over the years.  And if Bloomberg is right, a gun-buster sign or 20 will stop that in short order. :rofl:

  I agree.  Walmart would be their biggest victory ever because it would likely lead to them no longer selling firearms and ammo.  I'm betting they're saving them for last.  That way they can shame them by giving the MSM a huge list of Walmart's competitor's who "care about the kids" and force WallyWorld's hand.  Walmart's numbers are down just like the rest of the retail industry, so it might not take much prodding to do this.    All it'll take is one iPhone pic of OCT strolling through a Walmart with their Bushmasters and the Mom's Demand. . . I mean Everytown For. . . or whatever the heck they'll be called then will snap into action to save us from dudes buying Oreos.

This is a good time to remember that the Prime Minister who orchestrated this in Australia basically:   1.  Tricked gun owners into eating their own by turning gun clubs against each other after promising to save a few if they gave him public support. 2.  Convinced them to pay for the confiscation through taxation. 3.  Enjoyed the fact that a Bill of Rights & orgs like the NRA have no place in Australia. 4.  Was perfectly willing to spend whatever amount of money it took to do this. 5.  Had no problem with dividing the country to get it done. 6.  Won't talk about crime rate or the fact that the black market has returned most, if not all, of the confiscated guns back to his country. 7.  Won't talk about the country's police chiefs complaining that gangs are still getting their guns and being unable to stop them.   He wrote an op-ed last year bragging about it:   http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/17/opinion/australia-banned-assault-weapons-america-can-too.html?_r=0   "To make this plan work, there had to be a federally financed gun buyback scheme. Love the way he falsly suggests (for the umpteenth time) that the "most basic" background checks don't even exist and that firearm homicides are increasing.  And nobody in the MSM will ever challenge him on this.    Just once, I wish someone would point out to his lying face how demonstrably wrong this is.    Not that it would matter.  Lie, Rinse, Repeat.

Shannon Watts (former PR gal) and the "Moms Hate Us" Crew are doing exactly what any PR strategist would do.  When you have a few small victories under your belt, then it's time to move to the big leagues.  Target will be a major victory, if they get it, because Bloomberg's astroturf gang will then turn to every other big box retailer and say, "Don't you want to be like Target or do you want us to tell the nation that you hate the children?"    Last I heard, profits have been down lately.    Walmart will fall next.  They might even stop selling guns & ammo if Bloomberg puts them on blast loud enough.

  I also think that's where this is heading.  Along with public statements that we "don't bring our guns" from Target, Walmart, Publix, Krogers, Big Lots, Home Depot, Lowes, McDonalds, Burger King, . . . Pretty much every place Moms Demand Action snaps a pic of somebody sporting an AK/AR variant in the check-out line.  Which seems to be fashionable these days.  I'm getting my AR duracoated in purple tiger stripe for this very purpose since I'm a Prince fan and all. :cool:   A public relations expert would probably label this "Nightmare Scenario # 243."  With Nightmare Scenario # 242 having been the Catholic Church's handling of child molestation charges.   It's a good way to lose political support on a national level while, simultaneously, making an excellent point about 2nd Amendment rights.

I've been telling people this for years.  Yes, Obama gets a lot of black voters.  Yes, I know quite a few black people who voted for him.  But, it is VERY rare that I hear any of them saying anything positive about Obama.  Actually, most of them have told me that they're not falling for the finger pointing.     The Dems only court them when they need votes, promising jobs and opportunity, and then promptly abandon them. Even worse, when Dems return for those votes, Obama just gives them a speech in his best MLK voice basically saying, "Sorry I've done nothing for ya, but hang with me folks because, who ELSE you gonna vote for?  Republicans?"   And when they give millions of illegals amnesty and any hope of finding employment goes bye-bye, you're going to see a mass exodus the likes of which would haunt any ancient pharoah's nightmares.
