It might cause a "Good Cop" to pause, but I can tell you from personal experience that THEY do what they want. Not too hard to make up probable cause. Say like handcuffing you for "Their Protection". Been there done that....

I live about 4 miles from the range and it is pouring down right now. It is raining slightly 10 miles west. Each range has an area covered by a roof system which could be used to shoot from. On the pistol range it would require a long shot or we could put targets on barrels and pull them closer. It looks like it might be gone by 1pm but I am not sure. The range has gravel most everywhere so it is not too muddy. I will still plan to be at Hardee's. 423-667-3173

When you take the blue springs exit, you will circle around. Turn Right on Blue Springs and go under the bypass. Hardee's is on your Left about 1/16 mile from the bypass.

Noon at Hardee's sounds good. Just got back from the 3-gun and let me tell you, it is one hot mother out there...... So hot in fact we were lighting cigars off our barrels.

The Dari Kreme has excellent hamburgers and shakes. Ooltewah has Cracker Barrel, McDonald's, Hardees, Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Mexican, Chinese, Bojangles, Subway and maybe another or two. Going through Ooltewah is the quickest way but not necessarily the easiest without a GPS. But if we are meeting in Ooltewah for lunch I will be happy to lead the way to the club. I will be offline the rest of the night but will check in tomorrow before the 3 gun.

Great information guys, thanks. I guess the guy I was talking to was right about the 9mm barrel, and now I actually understand what he meant. Thanks for the help.

There is a Hardee's just off the Cleveland Bypass and Blue Springs Road. Take Exit 20 on I-75 North and then turn right. After you go past the Coca Cola plant on the left look for Blue Springs Road, maybe 1/2 mile or less past Coke. Get off and turn right. Hardee's is just up on the left. You can also get to CHRCP from Blue Springs road pretty easily with only 2 turns from Blue Springs Road. Be glad to meet and eat and then lead the way to CHRCP.... If you are wanting more Sit Down type eating go to Exit 27, Paul Huff Parkway and turn right. This will take you towards the Cleveland Mall. There is Logan's, Outback, Ryans, Golden Corral etc... This is further away from the range but a lot of different things to eat. Even Taco Hell, and don't blame me if you car craps out on you while you are there....Just Kidding.

I would like to take my .357 Sig P229 with a stainless slide and remove the bluing from the slide and then buff the SS slide. I have had one person tell me that just buffing to shine the SS will eat away metal and I could make the slide dangerous. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about this. I know customers who have done the same on their slides without any problems? I also want to make sure I don't buff enough to blur the writing. Question #2. I want to put a 9mm Barrel into this Sig. I was told that there were several 9mm barrels and some would not work. I was told specifically that I had to have a 9mm barrel made for a P229 that is factory .40 caliber. I don't understand what this matters, but maybe someone with more experience could help me. I know I will have to have 9mm Mags, but I don't understand about there being "Different" 9mm barrels. HELP!!!
