The new store is about 1 mile from the old one. Lee Highway and look for David Smith Plumbing on the right. Turn just before the plumbing building to the right and go back about 300 yards. There is a banner for "Skip's" is hanging on the building now. And no, I don't have a lot of inventory but my price can't be beat on anything I can order for you. We also now offer the TN HCP classes.

I mean absolutely no Dis-Respect by this comment:koolaid:, but I enjoy it when I hear someone talking about their 1st OC experience. I really find it humorous to hear others take a huge breath as if to say, "Wow, I can't believe you did that! Your Crazy!!!!":p I have been OC since day one and have never had any problems, ever....So if anyone who doesn't, wants to try, trust me, the world won't end, HCP laws won't be abolished and at the very least you do have the right to do it.

If it only worked that way, and I have seen that it does not. I charge $20 for transfers and I have "Loyal" transfer customers who have never bought one thing from me, but they bring all their transfer business to me. In my time selling guns I have met two types of buyers. As a business owner too, surely you understand the philosophy of "Time is Money"? That is not some of your time, but all of your time is money. Paper work is time and un-packing what some people ship can take lots of time. I don't believe that anyone who charges a reasonable fee to do a transfer is doing anything wrong. They are in business to stay in business.. And in case anyone is wondering.........There not nearly as much profit in guns as people seem to think there is. Most of us hang at the shop because we love guns and gun people. But we still have to pay the bills and transfers help us do that.

80%? Is that a verifiable number or just a guess? (I don't know what IMHO means. Have to look it up) I looked it up, so ignore this question. If we fight for our rights and then choose not to exercise them; wouldn't that be misguided? I don't believe OC will "Further" our rights, but it is our right. I find it very strange that OC people are taking so many attacks from other HCP people. I would understand it if the attackers did not carry, but since they do carry????????

Personally I think the guy who gets into a fist fight with someone who has a pistol strapped to their side that is OC, he is a DUMBA$$....

When exactly will "People start to demand that other parties be truly recognized"? As long as we the people sit around telling other free Americans that voting the way they decide to vote, and thereby exercising their freedom is "Wasting" a vote, the above statement will never happen. Change only comes in any are of life when it is asked for and then demanded. But how can the other parties EVER become main line when the only thing people have to say is that it would be a waste to vote for them? Anyone remember Mr. Edison? Failing many times to make a light bulb and when asked about his failure he stated that he had not failed "X" amount of times to make a light bulb, he had actually proven "X" amount of ways you can't make a light bulb. We all know how that ended. I despise Obama for what I think he stands for. I would not vote for him even if he was the only one running. But wouldn't that also be a "Waste" of my vote? (Though I will definately not vote for Obama!!!!) It just doesn't sit right with me when I read posts where one person is telling another person basically they are "Stupid". And when you tell someone their vote will be wasted, that is essentially what you are saying. Although I understand on this board we all say what we feel and generally do not mean anything negative towards each other. We each have the right to vote however we feel is right, and hopefully anyone who does believe in God will use that resource to help them make a moral and right decision. But the basis of a board like this is "FREEDOM". And that includes the freedom to vote for whomever you like or even not vote at all if you choose. (Though if you don't vote you can't whine about it later). I like this board because even though things sometimes get a little "Hairy" we all still get along and help each other. Discussion and sometimes argument is a healthy part of relationships and I enjoy the interaction on this board. But for me, I don't believe anyone is going to waste a vote. Not voting the way you feel is right would be the mistake. I live in a free country, free for now, and I hope that everyone exercises their God given and fought for rights to vote. For anyone they choose. (Except Obama,,,,Just kidding) "Anyone willing to give up freedom for security, doesn't deserve either" (Can't remember who said it.) And I will NOT GIVE UP MY FREEDOM for the sake of security or anyone else's opinion.... I'm done.

As someone who stood on the freeway for 2 hours getting my vehicle searched and then being put into Handcuffs just because I did not tell the FL State Trooper I had a loaded handgun in the vehicle. He said it was the law I did, I have the ATF state law book that disagrees with him. It states that on "Demand of the Officer you must provide your permit". He did not demand and actually refused to let me show it to him once he saw the pistol in the floor , 1 of 3 I had in the vehicle. He totally stomped on my civil rights by going into my car, taking me handgun then refusing to allow me to prove I had a permit, stating that I had broken the law by not telling him right off. BS BS BS The moral of this story is this: YES, THEY WILL ARREST YOU whether they know the law or not. LEO's get you to jail and then you have to get an attorney and prove your case, then sue if you want. Whether they let you go and drop the charges or not, you are out some personal time and probably a large sum of money. My idea on this is don't rely on the law to protect you, that is not what it is going to do. These days we are guilty until proven innocent, not the other way around. PS. I could find not one lawyer who would take my case or do anything. Out of 100 lawyers I contacted they all said it would be my word against the LEO's. Even though I could prove all I did was speed and that I had not broken a law that did not exist. OH WELL, so much for our RIGHTS>>>>

I think that as Law Abiding citizen's, we who carry need to respect those who do not want guns on their property no matter what the wording. Just a respect thing. Though to me, Comcast's sign did state: 1) Whose property it was 2)What they didn't want on their property. The only thing it does not say is the part about "failing to comply" and what that means. I am all for OP or CC, whatever floats your boat. But when you go into a place that does not want you to carry, that is disrespecting the owner of that business, even if it is a multi million dollar company. Don't misunderstand me though, I think we should be allowed to carry everywhere we go no matter what. Maybe someday we will be able to, but right now we have to respect those who don't agree, and agree to disagree with them. I am definitely not putting my future into the interpretation of "SIMILAR" by some wet behind the ears half my age LEO!!! BEEN THERE.
