  1. As I understand TN law/rules, you cannot knowingly sell to a prohibited person, like underage or a felon, but you don't have to check. I once bought a gun out of the trunk of a car, in a big parking lot. We both got a chuckle from that! While you may choose to do more, it is less effort (and fewer requirements) than selling a car in the paper. A good thing, generally, keeps the government in the dark.
  2. What benefit is a trust re NFA items?
  3. Size the generator at 2x the largest motor you need to start. Likely your well pump. You might add in the freezer in case the both start at the same time. There are 746 watts in 1 HP. I have a Honda powered lawnmower. Never again. requires wd40 to start every time after the 3rd week from new. Carb too complex, gums up too easily. Briggs or nothing. Avoid ethanol, it gums up carbs even worse.
  4. @R_bert I live in a quiet neighborhood and would like to install an antenna(e) in my attic to minimize attention. How would this work for CB? Got a better suggestion? https://www.rightchannelradios.com/collections/base-station-cb-antennas/products/firestik-indoor-cb-base-antenna
  5. I like to use public places with a lot of traffic, like gas stations. Once bought a rifle out of the trunk of a car at Northgate Mall. LOL!

  7. .45 Win Mag? Don't 1911s weigh <2 to 2.25 lbs.?
  8. So, Truckie, what's the resolution of your issue?
  9. Hey, now! I like it! It's great camouflage. Breaks up the lines of the pistol for quick second. Maybe all the time you need to get a sight picture. Would you laugh if it was upland camo? :-)
  10. So, what differentiates a fake from a real supressor?  It seem like a long flash hider might well knock off a dB or 2.
  11. Finally a Glock worth having!
  12. Sounds like an import business opportunity!
  13. Colt Mustang or one of the little Beretta .380s.
  14.   Sorry for the reply delay.  I got locked out by using the wrong password.   The shop in in my home town, not Chattanooga.  I generally like the guys, and thought I was missing something.  My OACP is just big enough for my hand, so it is just the right size for CCW.  The one DW 1911 I have been able to handle was quite nicely done and I can afford a step better than a Colt, now days.  It doesn't hurt that my DW 41V is such a good revolver, even though the company is completely different.    My sister has a 3" 9mm Kimber with some factory upgrades that has given her several problems extracting and short stroking.  Then, the magazine floorplate broke off and dumped the contents on the floor while she was shooting it.  Misbehaved some for me, even.  Kimber was a PITA fixing it.  They patted her on the head over the phone when she called them.  When she called back and went school teacher on them they fixed it.  So, I won't be giving them my money.
  15. I like the looks of the CCO.  It should be the best balance between concealment and velocity.  Hometown gunshop has a grudge against Dan Wesson or CZ.  They won't talk about a DW and want to sell me a Wiley Clap Commander (certainly a fine pistol and I have 3 Colts).    Anyone got one?
