Today's knife....January 5th
Monkeyman2500 replied to Grand Torino's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
Wow GT, for a hobby you put a heck of a lot of work into these. Keep up the great work, because I love seeing all the different blades you put together. -
I can't post the hoard without my laptop and a wifi connection, but I love this thread!:)

The Death Blow for Subscription Television as We Know It
Monkeyman2500 replied to Mike A's topic in General Chat
This is interesting me. We're moving to a home that is on a mountain top and I doubt there is any type of cable service in the area. Does anyone know of other options besides dish for non cable areas. Also what about Internet services. Already killing my Verizon monthly allowance. -
I'm sorry, call me a redneck racist, but I would have kicked someone's a**.These people are pathetic. And at a 100yr old WWII vets ceremony.

Today's knife....January 5th

Great Googly Moogly, how fast can you churn out these awesome knives!! :) -
Example of bad owners. Dogs should be controlled at all times. Ours are always fenced. There were multiple reports on these dogs before biting people.

Take it easy jh225, I as well as others are large supporters of the LEO community. I only said it makes you wonder if he ever had an issue with the law beforehand. I'm not judging the guy good or bad. The politicians are the gun rights opponents, and the problem for law enforcement as well. It may be that it's not a local issue, but I don't see a lot of rallying to change their laws in that state.
-
I can see where LEO like TN-popo get their perception of the breed. As do others as well. Im willing to bet most of his calls were not to the most classy individual residents. The inbreeding, drugs, and abuse have taken a toll on the breed. When I see dogs like the victims I have to wonder about steroids and other drugs. They are quite rampant with the thug owners of this breed. An example my two Pit Rottweiler mixes are under 85lbs and don't have heads on them like a gorilla. My Staffordshire is only 40lbs also without a gorilla head. It's a shame what has been done to this breed in the last 75yrs.

Ha!! I did the same thing in our neighborhood. Had a huge stockpile of toy guns. Mine were all copy look a likes put out in the early 80's. We used to have a whole army running around!

Knife of the day.....Jan 3rd 2015
Monkeyman2500 replied to Grand Torino's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
Another great knife. I love a good carbon blade. It matches nice with that color combination. -
Yes but pant sagging, flat bill cap, ghetto thugs never fed a coon hound steroids and gunpowder.

How important to you is an accessory rail on a handgun?
Monkeyman2500 replied to TGO David's topic in Handguns
I don't think having a rail with light is bad, but for me I don't want one. I'm kind of in the 1911 purist crowd too. Mainly because it's just what I'm used to using and training with. I also carry a Glock without one too. As for home defense I feel the dark is to my advantage. I don't have any friends or family that might be wondering in during the night. Also the dog hoard will give ample warning time. -
My opinion basically echos others here that it has everything to do with upbringing and ownership. We have two Pit Rottweiler mixes, a Staffordshire and a couple other mutts. They would all rather snuggle than bite. If you have large breed dogs you must be a responsible owner with complete control of your dogs. Maintaining you are the leader is part of that. I also believe dogs can be like humans and some are just off. I think if you look into these incidents further there will be clues as to why it happened. It happens more with pits because of morons trying to make them more aggressive instead of actually working with and loving their dog. I've been around large dogs all my life. Been bitten by several other people's dogs. Worst was a neglected mutt. I truly believe it's 99% owners fault and the dogs are just dogs.

Anti-Guns in Bars Restaurateur's Flagship Joint Shutters Doors
Monkeyman2500 replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
I've been in the restaurant business for many years. I worked for Rayburn many years ago before any of his political BS. I never had any issues with him personally, but he was well known to be a horses behind in the industry. At that time he had a heck of a lot of debt and mutiple mortgages on his large home. I have a feeling with the help of his political stunts it all just finally caught up with him. -
Oh Yea! Built mine years ago from great eBay scores. Sota Sapphire with Grace tonearm and Shure cartridge, Carver amp, and Klipsch Heresy speakers. Sorry never get to brag about it cause no one ever knows what the heck I'm talking about. :)

I don't know what half those words mean, but then again I don't hang around teenagers. It must be a terrible job managing a fast food place. All my guys in kitchens were just middle aged drunks. :)
