And why do they always have the tactical front sling? No one ever shows they're 2nd amendment rights with a lever action and a leather sling.
-
Yea it's going to be up to new owners. I personally lost quite a bit of vacation during one of these transitions.

Agree with all above. I would also take it to a couple other places and get opinions and quotes. I like a good local shop over a chain.

I got a good laugh out of that one. :)

Shed Plans - What Would You Have Done Differently?
Monkeyman2500 replied to wewoapsiak's topic in General Chat
You might want to consider two separate builds. One for wood and another for the shed. Wood piles tend to attract termites and other bugs. Im not sure if that would be different keeping it inside. -
Welcome back. When we lived close to Brentwood we still drove all the way to Guns and Leather in Greenbriar to both shoot and purchase guns. It's a great place and not to crowded if you go week days.

Dang Hozzie, pretty cool. -
Dolomite states it perfectly. Talking about flag burning and not expecting some threatening statements from veterans is ridiculous. OP you where looking for trouble on this post and have only made it worse with mental health insults. If you are serious at all it speaks to the severe lack of principles and personal values in today's society. Just because the law protects what you say does not make it right. The westboro church people come to mind. Used to be a saying "There's a time and place for everything" but if you pick that time at the wrong place it can get your as# kicked. When did fighting for something you believe in give you mental health issues?

Lucky dog! What great timing to pick those up. Love the Randall knives.

Aw man, you sold the Van Halen Shrike! That was my favorite.

Don't quote me, but after reaserching it seams he supported John Kerry during his presidential run. That seems to be where the anti gun thing stems from. That was the big deal. Aside from that quality and customer support look to be excellent. -
They will always blame legal gun owners no matter the circumstances.

Darwin theory hard at work for both parties. Nice headbutt though.

Call me crazy, but if you can't park the car maybe you shouldn't be driving it.

What happened to the Nashville Farmers Market?
Monkeyman2500 replied to jgradyc's topic in General Chat
I can tell y'all a lot of local business has been lost to the high end restaurant industry. I would try to source as much local produce as I could when ordering. Even the large suppliers are buying from local now for resale. We would design menu items specifically for what was in season locally and request it from our supplier. The farmers realized long ago they could not sustain themselves at the markets. With the cost of being a farmer it was the only way to survive. The days of farmer Dave ( real guy by the way) driving around in his pickup from restaurant to restaurant selling his in season produce started a lot of this in Nashville. Great guy too by the way. It was good and bad. Many people, not just hipsters, have been awakened to the benefits of non gmo foods. Read about monsanto, it will scare the crap out of you. There are still the smaller markets mentioned and they are pretty good. As for the Nashville farmers market it could go either way. I went once about five years ago and never went back it was such a joke. There were only two or three true local growers. -
Wow, that is incredible. I bet it shoots pretty good too!

Had a pretty good Memorial Day weekend

Dolomite, those kids are going to think your the greatest guy they ever met. Teaching those kids some proper handling techniques is a great thing. Growing up my dad was not a fan of guns, I didn't shoot a real gun till I was about 16. A friend we made playing paintball was an ex army sniper and he took me and another kid out and taught us how to shoot. Wish to this day I could have done some rifle training with him. -
Ha! Sounds like you got an awesome kid. You got to just sit back and laugh at the mower part.

I might have a new project.

30% might be a little off. 10% maybe. Also I'm only talking about handguns. I've heard about many returns of 1911's due to feed ramp issues and timing. Mine had a burr on the feed ramp. My friend has sent two back that both got new barrels, one was a Sig and can't remember the other.

Had to return a Springfield 1911 GI model. Had to return a Taurus. Also had a Kahr pm45 that never ran right. My brother has a shield that probably needs returned, but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet.
