  1. Woot! I'll let the rest of you peons know how it goes. buk
  2. Not quite as ugly, but the price makes up for it. Finnish Mosin Sniper Antique Receiver : Bolt Action at GunBroker.com buk
  3. Poak, if we ever meet... first beer's on me. The whole "your, you're,their, there, they're" thing drives me up a wall. buk
  4. Well if it makes you feel better, HK is going to be producing them soon. Of course I'm sure it will come with the new improved HK price. They are also going to make .22 versions of the P7 and the 416. You may also need to consider before you buy a GSG, it appears that they aren't going to honor any of their warranties, or sell spare parts in the US. All in all, I'd still love to have one. buk
  5. That's a good location Hatmaker. If you're coming from Franklin, turn left on Thompson Ln (1st intersection after you drive over 24). There will be an immediate left (Armory Dr.) that will take you a couple of years to navigate, so instead go up to the next light and hand a u-turn in the YMCA parking lot. The armory is about half a mile up on the right. Although this is completely new information on there being a gun show there. I must check this out. buk
  6. The riskiest thing one can do on TGO? Clicking on a thread by strickj about "pictures". But for once, it turned out pretty good. buk
  7. Soylent bologna? buk

    Knob Creek

I've been to Knob Creek a dozen times and it's been a complete mud bog every time. Have a blast for all of us Jason! buk P.S. Out of curiosity, how much does 20freakinMM ammo cost?
  9. Wow I guess that makes me one of the "cool kids" since I got a PM. It's truly sad how small and pathetic this guy's life must be to get his jollies doing this. buk
  10. Well I visited Franklin Gun Shop earlier this year. Even though I'd always heard about the poor service and high prices, I was looking for a specific pistol and had no luck anywhere else, so I gave it a shot. Well the wonderful wife spotted our quarry and (after a few minutes waiting for some help) I got to check it out. When I started haggling they put me with a younger guy (got the feeling he was an owner) and he immediately gave me a great deal and I took it home. So I guess I'm in the positive category. If I had any complaints, it would be that it seems you're open about 15 minutes a week, and maybe the lack of attention from the older staff. All in all, I'd do business with you again. buk
  11. And why exactly is the city of New York spend $1.5 million of taxpayer money to investigate things that occured in other states? If that was my tax money, I'd be raising serious hell. buk
  12. You know, I've always found the "boiling pot of coffee to the crotch" to be a real knee-slapper! That'd show him you know how to joke too. buk
  13. He's also posted in the Test Zone, it comes up AKer but also Type 56. This guys internet-fu is much stronger than mine. Mods protect me!!!! buk
  14. God I'm confused. I thought he was just a joke troll account, but this is some conspiracy here! buk
  15. Damn! He doesn't even show up in the community list! You guys didn't whack him did you? Suddenly I'm afraid of the mods around here. buk
  16. I'd bet today that would run around $20k+. Jason you need to bring that sweetheart to the next shoot. buk
  17. New pig tattoo! buk
  18. Pricing, service (or the lack thereof). They basically seem bothered by customers. Sorry for the hijack, I'll second the local vendors. $25 seems to be the norm around here. buk
  19. From my last visit I don't think Specialty Arms wants to sell their own guns either.
  20. And if that doesn't work out, they're still on your property. "Honest officer I don't know what happened, but I was afraid for my life...." buk
  21. All of this plus Costco's meat is much better. If you have dogs the Kirkland's dog food rates very high in comparison to other brands. buk
  22. I realize that you're only 11 years older than me, but I'm pretty sure you're my father. DADDY!!!! buk
  23. David you're like me, if I ever got into that position, I'd never get back up! buk
  24. Man I think you have to fail a test or something to get a job at Best Buy. I love that place, and the prices are usually really good, but it hurts to talk to some of those people. By the way, Wal Mart has Red Dawn in a 2 pack with Navy Seals for $5 in the bargain bin. buk
  25. Sorry man, I've had enough NyQuil this week to float a battleship, my radar is a bit off. And Ralph, since you didn't see fit to answer any of my questions, I don't feel the need to justify myself to you. buk
