  1. Hey Joe, did you and the guys pick up one of each of these pistols, or was the Sig just that great? Because if it was nice enough for you guys to impulse buy one, then I may have to get one on general principle. buk
  2. Well at least that's 4 days his finger wasn't on the trigger! Glad to see he did so well, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. buk
  3. Did anyone notice if the knife sharpening guy was there? Need to get my chef's knives done, but I'm not driving that far if he's not there. thanks buk
  4. Maybe one day you could grab your camera and we could put together a fire-team and you could get some new pics to update the site! buk
  5. The wife and I invented a drinking game in which you take a shot every time Lisa Patton used the phrase "under the gun" during a storm. Tried to actually play it once but we were hammered within 20 minutes. Lately I've really enjoyed Serrita (sp?) Baker on wtvf. She does the remotes where something interesting happened during the night. She is talking completely out of her ass. Last week there was a shooting in a stairwell of an apartment complex. She said "Authorities tell us this occured in some type of stairwell, inside some type of building". As opposed to a free-range stairwell? Great for entertainment value at 0500. buk
  6. I've been asking around about the Ace stocks on ar15.com for my wasr and have gotten rave reviews from everyone. I didn't know they made one for the 870 though, looks cool. I'm also going for the Mesa Tactical shell carrier, it's much more solid and has a gap that lets your serial number show, which is required for a Class III gun. Good luck and make sure to post pics when you get it done! buk
  7. Isn't it several hundred dollars for a "membership" to his range, which only gives you the right to still pay per hour used? I think the highest was $1k, which gives you a whopping 3 to 5% off his guns. Yeah, douchebag seems about right. buk
  8. How much is it to get started there? I'm interested, but I need to figure out the $ first. Second question, are there any... husky gentlemen (AKA fatties) there? I'd hate to stick out too bad. buk
  9. Another +1 on the light box info. Pics are great, just want to duplicate! buk
  10. That was my resolution for 2008. I can say I've really stuck with it! This year is the same... money and weight. I'm actually thinking about the Krav Maga classes in Franklin, so maybe I'll get a little something done on the weight this year. As for the cash, well if Joe would just keep me out of his shop, that problem would solve itself. buk
  11. That will be in a movie before the end of 2009. Something cheap, like the "Resident Evil" type movies. buk
  12. Don't forget to salt the earth so that nothing may ever grow there! I was raised here in Shelbyville, about an hour south of Nashville. I can remember as a child Mom taking us to Hickory Hollow and it was awesome. I went back a few years ago and was shocked by the decline. It hasn't become a black mall or a hispanic mall, it's a pure thug mall. I can't believe there aren't full blown wars down there all the time. It may be time to carpet bomb all of Antioch and have it done. buk
  13. Ate. Too. Much. I'm not eating at all Friday. Not a bite. Well maybe a little. buk
  14. A man of few words. Now pony up some info. And welcome. buk

    Palm Gun?

$300!!! I could get another Kel-Tec for less than that! buk
  16. Well I've decided I need an Ace Stock for my new WASR, but they cost a fortune. I was wondering if anyone knew somwhere that might sell them cheaper than buying directly from Ace. I've spent 2 days on Google with no luck, maybe someone here has the hookup! buk
  17. Seven years with M'boro PD. :poop: buk
  18. Slick Pig's smoked wings are the reason chickens were created. I went to a party several years ago and when I asked where the beer was they pointed me to the kitchen. On the floor were two kegs, on the table there were 5 gigantic trays of those awesome wings. I ate and drank about 3 years off my life that night, and it was totally worth it. Next time you go to Slick Pig for the 99 cent sandwich, ask for the "extra" hot sauce. I love hot stuff, but that sauce will melt your nose hairs! buk
  19. Hells yeah!!! You'll never regret it. buk
  20. Dang man where did you get your seeds? I grow these every year and had about a dozen plants this year that never put out one single pepper. They're huge, just somehow never produced anything. And I fully agree about the flavor, it's awesome if you can get past that burn. buk
  21. I had a P14 for years and loved it, only had one problem with it in several thousand rounds, and that ended up being an ammo problem. They are a very polarizing gun, the double stack doesn't fit everyone's hand quite right. It's the only pistol that I knew within 10 seconds of picking one up that it was the one for me. Handle one, shoot one if you can before you buy one. buk
  22. The wife and I are hoping to go Saturday afternoon. It's sad, I live 10 miles from Lynchburg and I'm a huge foodie, and I've never once made the championship. Really hoping to change that this year. And Tungsten... out of all the guns on this board, Dave's is the scarriest thing on here! buk
  23. Negative. Damnation ALLEY You missed it by one letter. The bonus points are mine!!! Now where do I redeem these points? buk
  24. I can honestly say I wouldn't care if they spent ten times that much as long as she gets the job!!! buk
  25. That's amazing! Nearly 500 members and 4,600 posts about one tiny gun that no one can find. The internet is now officially too crowded. buk
