  1. Thanks I have a pancake that I am working on now will post some photos when done.
  2. When I did the 2 that I drew up I wasn't sure which of the 2 would work better, I wasnt trying to reinvent the wheel just make one that is similar to what others have done and seem to be successful for those that do make them. In fact it has less leather in it than some other models have, and yet is leather and not kydex.
  3. Not know what your thinking may or may not be correct
  4. as you know a pancake has to have the belt weaved through the holster and can at times pull the holster to tight making it difficult to pull the weapon. With these it just offers a method of quick attachment and detachment of the holster to the belt, and while using pull the dot fasteners it is still difficult to remove the straps unless they are properly attached.  Also with these they can also be worn at 3 to 4 o'clock or in the appendix position for those that might want to wear it in that position.
  5. It was done with a laser, when done on an actual holster build I would then hand paint them with some acrylic paint
  6. that will be added to a few holsters in the future, 1st is a gun belt that is nearing completion and the art work that can be added to a holster then hand painted to match the popular theme. the gun belt is cut out of saddle skirting and is 1/4 inch thick 1.5 inches wide, has a southwest theme to it.
  7. Once the straps that would hold the holsters in place it would create a forward cant to the weapon they are not completed yet, the one on the right is for a walter ppq 22 the one on the left is for a m & p 9mm sub compact.
  8. Because the strap mounts are off set it is going to create a forward cant about 10 degrees
  9. No it would have a cant
  10. out side the waistband holster it is similar to what others do, it will have straps to go around the belt to keep it close to the body and can be made to fit any gun.  Let me what y'all think feed back wanted, this is just a rough draft to keep myself busy,  Thanks in advance and a photo to follow in a minute or 2
  11. most places cant hold on to them and few selling right msrp.  Cant think of the guys name that does a lot of reloading videos and unboxing stuff is it Gallen Tube?  Anyway he did a review with the 6.5 guys might find it on utube, been keeping my eye open for one as well.
  12. there is usually a yote hunt about this time of year up in LBL it is held annually Wiljo can give more info on it. my son and I went last year but didnt see anything but it was good to get out in the woods.
  13. are all of those being sewn with 207 thread or 138 and 207 depending on the project?  I like the closed bottom items, is there a hole in the back to let out captured lint and other items?  And is the closed work only done on smaller caliber weapons?
  14. A belt I just finished to go to Kali
  15. I have a taco press that I use for dex when I am doing that, and also have the 12 on my list of things to get in the future, but I like what the vacuum press does as it also helps in pulling the water out.
  16. I wanted to leave that natural, and I had rubbed in some gum trag you know how that resists, so I just put on a coat of resolene, and it makes it a little different from what others might do.
  17. Holster with far greater definition than the 1st one, the 1st I vacuum formed just like this one but got better definition with this one by using a foam jig.  This one is 8/9oz leather machine sewn, hand dyed, for a XD mod 2 45acp.  The first one was for a 9mm this one gives a little more satisfaction, kydex is relatively easy when compared to leather.  photos to follow.
  18. Thank you all for the kind words
