  1. Probably buying to resell at the gun show tomorrow sad
  2. Eeeha get to go taking both 300blk, the acp, 9mm, and 22, cee y'all there
  3. there should be a bunch of guys in your neck of the woods that cut the brass, heck you can do it on the cheap if you really want to.  One of the ways to get it done is to go to home depot or lowes and buy a tubing cutter and cut them just below the neck, of course this is the slow method.  If there is a Harbor Freight there get the small chop saw and go that route, you can make a jig out of some wood.
  4. There are a few members here that can help with that search home made holsters and most of the members that have made holsters have stuff posted in that thread
  5. I had to run up there tonight to pick up a few things being it is the closest to us, and surprisingly they still had several rows of the 325 count boxes still on the shelf.  So the buying frenzy must be over till we hear about another gun take away then it will be everyman for himself.
  6. hope y'all have fun, as I suspected I will be trans and funds challenged for the weekend wife has to work in Nashville and we only have one vehicle.  Shoot a bunch for me, was really looking forward to taking everything out, oh well maybe next time.
  7. after holding back for so long I can only imagine how much there is to put out on the shelves now.
  8. are you talking ammo or weapon?  Both are easy to do yourself, with very little tooling needed, unless you have none?
  9. I mean they had a whole bunch, there were 2 thousand round boxes at 50.00 plus and probably 30 to 40 325 round boxes for like 18.00 cant remember for sure but there was a bunch, more than I have ever seen there.
  10. Alcohol might work or get some citrus degreaser
  11. Best bet is to try and cont the mfg 1st or look at amazon or fleabay
  12. if I am not transportation and financially challenged net week end hopefully I can make it, I have 300blk that has not been shot much either, that is the carbine and the pistol.  But only time will tell.
  13. Comms, if you look at Hozzies set up and like it but don't want to get stuck with everything, he has a few items I would be willing to buy  to help ease the cost
  14. one other nice feature is that with the Hornady stuff you can get free projectiles when you buy there stuff.  I reload 45acp, soon 9mm, 300blk, 308, 223/556 on mine.
  15. I had my mind set on a Hornady LNL, that's what I have now and enjoy the heck out it, changing calibers is not big deal or even projectile types within a caliber.  Like anything else it takes time to learn and do, a single stage is much the same ya just get to keep pulling the handle, and I do take up one station for a powder cop die to help keep an eye on things, and another nice feature on the LNL is the center hole where a light that is made for it can be installed to light things up a bit.
  16. Thats why I bought these as well new/used carbide cheap just got to get to the reload table.
  17. Yes I would say so, my major problem is that I dont at times write down what recipe works best. I have some that I wet tumbled and not only is the insides including primer pocket squeaky clean the outside is bright shiny brass, and some become dull after a few days. Now to be fare to myself some of it was pistol brass, and some was converted 300blk brass, so I dont know if the makeup of the brass is different, but I would think you should see a different. My mixture is usually a small measuring cup of a cleaner degreaser, a little pinch of lemashine, a solution that is used in dishwasher to remove spots, and let it rip.
  18. if you were only getting 3 0r 4 cleanings per jug of shine they ya you were way over doing it, how did the brass look after a couple of days?
  19. I need to get them out and clean them, I have had so many irons in the fire, trying to decide if I can get a booth at the upcoming gun show, getting a double layer leather belt worked on, depriming 9mm, and about worn out.  But I need to get out the dies I picked up and at least get them clean.
  20. there are a few different people here that can make a holster for you depending on what you want, you've been around here for a while and should be able to search them out.
  21. I'll have to keep that in mind if I run across many like that.
  22. I have heard that before and will have to check for that, of course I have the barrel of the gun they will be used in as well as a loaded round checker
  23. I am thinking that I may hand prime each case instead of using the progressive press that way I can massage the primer in a little better with each one, that is my thought anyway time will tell.
  24. It will probable be a few days before I start to use them, but the brass will have already been deprimed, I bought a hand held deprimer so I can sit on the couch watch T. V. While do that and repriming.
  25. I also picked up a set of dies today Omega got the other set that was for sale in the area, these are the RCBS 3 die Carb set so I need to do a little reading up on these and find out what they are all about but would like to hear the pros and cons from Y'all. Thanks
