  1. Welcome. Pull up a chair and stay awhile!
  2. Good deal!   Time to get yourself some NiMH rechargables and put the alkaleaks away!
  3. He's up by Joelton but Scott could do it. http://www.scottiesgunworks.net/
  4. I carry mine in an Alien Gear IWB (the newer neoprene one) most of the time. If i'm running out for a few minutes or am wearing gym shorts it goes into a Remora which does a surprisingly good job.
  5.   I'm looking forward to the warmer temperatures this weekend. I have a couple sticks in my humidor that I badly want to try.
  6.   Looks like it from the photos. I've been meaning to stop in that place and check it out.
  7.   I'd hope he's well spoken. He's a retired english teacher hahaha
  8. Police in Michigan set up a sting.   Not a normal sting.   They pulled over drivers for minor traffic violations and during the conversation asked if the drivers have finished their Christmas shopping.   What happened next is worth watching...   http://www.wzzm13.com/story/news/local/lowell/2014/12/09/lowell-police-surprise-drivers-with-christmas-presents/20134477/
  9. I'm amazed it hasn't been reported before. It's stupidly easy to gut something innocuous and put a functional firearm in it. That said you won't ever find one in my house. My guns look like guns for a reason.
  10.  I stumbled across it by accident. I was looking for button cells for a couple keychain flashlights I have. When I saw the price I did a quick search on a couple light forums to see if they were any good. Then I hit order lol
  11.   Looks like they raised the price since I ordered this morning. Crap, well its still a good deal, just not as good...
  12. I'll revive this a bit:  http://www.bgmicro.com/cr123a-battery-by-panasonic.aspx     $0.75 each for panasonics...   I just ordered 10 of them and they are well reviewed on a flashlight forum I'm on.
  13.   The gun should run similarly with the various bullet weights. Point of impact will shift vertically somewhat between weights.   A 115gr (in general) is a higher velocity, higher expansion system 147 gr (in general) is a lower velocity, higher mass, higher penetration system 124 gr (in general) is a medium between the two extremes
  14. Lookup shootingthebull410 on youtube.   His tests in 9mm from a short barrel have shown 124gr HST and 147gr Ranger T to be the best in both bare and heavy denim gel tests for what it's worth.     That said, I carry 124gr Golden Sabers in my shield (similar barrel length) because I'm familiar with them and they have a good street reputation
  15. Research what types of fruit trees can be around other types. My parents have a fruit orchard and some of the trees prevent the others from bearing fruit. I wish I had specifics but I can't remember exactly what my grandfather (he was an arborist) was yelling at my father about a few years ago...
  16. Sounds like the drainfield tile might have collapsed, or the elbow that prevents it from plugging disconnected (had this happen once at my parents house). Until you get someone out there to pump out the tank, you won't know for sure what happened.
  17. Yup, I'm gonna keep my mouth shut too...
  18. Here's an article   http://www.tennessean.com/story/money/real-estate/2014/11/07/indoor-gun-range-target-former-regal-bellevue-theater/18659379/
  19. Welcome!
  20. As others have said it's very personal.   I'm a big fan of a hybrid design and based on cost and experience I typically end up with an Alien Gear.
  21. I was all in on buying one till the Walther PPX came out way cheaper than I expected. $279-299 from CDNN and it's from a more established manufacturer.
  22. Cow wasn't branded or ear tagged?
  23. Maybe Kmart hacked you?
  24. I've handled that M1 they have at ACA. Wish I had the $ for one
