    I hope you are able to find a way to bring that feature back without significantly affecting the server. I quite like it.

All of a sudden I can't see the "Newly Posted Threads" (not sure exactly what it was called) on the right side of the home page while signed in. I've tried with both Firefox and Chrome and it suddenly disappeared part way through today.   I'm not sure if I autodownloaded some sort of update or it something changed in the site design but I experienced the same thing on two different browsers so I'm kinda doubting it's on my end.   If this was a planned change, I want to request a return. I quite enjoyed seeing the newest threads on the right side.

With the resolution being what it is, I'd agree that it's a Midland Water Snake. Nice fat healthy one too, looks like it's got a meal in there by the way it's moving.

My get home bag is pretty simple. It has 5 major modules. Shelter, Food, Water, Fire, Health. I work in an area where keeping a gun on me or in the car is a no go so firepower is non-existant (looking to change that).   I have a decent tarp and paracord (shelter), some protein bars (food), a life straw (water), and wetfire with fireknife (fire), meds and bandages (health). The rest is "comfort" items: toilet paper, bug spray, sunblock, a steel cup to boil and cook in (if necessary). Not a major module but still useful is a topographical map of the region.

If you could quote TCA that would be great. As far as I know, (provided the TN legislature hasn't passed something I missed) killing of any non game species is illegal provided it doesn't pose an immediate (emphasis added) threat to ones life

I haven't noticed an issue with increased loading times. Run a speed test and see what you get when the site loads slow
