  1.   My parents have two Emersons and they love them other than they pick up interference from the microwave haha.
  2. I have a budget Vizio and I'm pretty darn happy with it.
  3. No idea but I got an imminent threat warning from my antivirus when I clicked on the link.
  4. A lot of the snake handling churches are quite frankly a farse. I know of quite a few that have been busted who were cooling the snakes down to make them docile or were drugging them with sedatives.   Rarely are they handling fully awake snakes.   That said there are laws against collecting, possessing, and/or killing any non game wildlife in TN.   If they privately purchased the snakes and had the permit to keep 'dangerous' animals (very hard to get unless you are a researcher like me or a zoo) then they would be legal.   When there's a path to complying with the law and still being able to worship as they wish, then they can't really claim freedom of religion.
  5. I did some work with TDEC and TWRA last spring and found an intact skull, rack and some ribs and vertebra without any tissue. They said "take em home", that's good enough for me lol.
  6. Crap now I want to go to the liquor store as I only have some Ole Smokey cherry shine sitting around.
  7.   Yeah there used to be one or two that are back there with him doing the same thing.   I stopped going to the Goodman shows though so I have no idea if the whole crew is still in the back
  8. I'm not in the market at the moment but I noticed that deal in my email as well.
  9.   Mine got popped about a month or so after my last order from LA Police. Perhaps their servers got infiltrated.
  10. I have my Bersa loaded with Remington UMC JHP. It's cheap, it works in my gun and it could possibly expand (although I doubt it).
  11. It's a Corn Snake. It's a harmless non-venomous snake that eats rodents.
  12. Hey the people were safe, why not try and save the beer?   Granted I would have been after a single malt scotch or a good bourbon myself but to each their own
  13. Can't tell you the number of students I have who can't afford to eat but have iPods and smartphones. Grr....
  14. Yeah I love auctions if there isn't a ton of testosterone present but once the bubba's get bidding all logic goes out the window.
  15. There's a bunch of us down here. I lived in Rochester Hills for a bit about 10 years ago. Fortunately they welcome us yankees down here. Welcome!
  16. Haha, yeah I've got a poster of a version of that which I had hung in my classroom when I taught more math oriented science courses.
  17. I'm a damn ohio yankee too. Bowling Green to be specific.
  18. If you are in the Nashville area and come across a venomous snake shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to remove it for you. I hate seeing snakes killed needlessly and have training and experience handling venomous snakes.   Toss a trashcan on top of it and put some sort of weight on it and I'll come get it.
  19. The implant dentist I talked to (one of the best in the southeast supposedly) doesn't do payments, only referred me to the medical credit card (I'm assuming he gets a kickback). I hadn't considered a personal loan, that's not a bad idea.
  20. As some of you know I had to have a front tooth removed about 3 weeks ago due to 3 fractures in the tooth. The tooth was weakened by a root canal originally and was a time bomb according to the oral surgeon my dentist referred me to.   Has anyone here financed a medical procedure via carecredit or similar?   I'm looking at $3000 out of pocket for a bridge (not my 1st choice as they have to be redone every 5-10 years) or $5000 out of pocket for an implant (buy once, cry once).   I don't have that kind of $ just sitting around (school teacher) so I'm wondering if I'm barking up the wrong tree with the idea of financing the procedure on a medical credit card.   I don't have any other debt besides a small student loan. Car is paid off and no credit card debt.   Thoughts?
