  1. Squirrels and Rabbits should fear you...
  2. Rusty but trusty. Good for the mom, now here's hoping she gets some oil on that carbine!
  3. That's brilliant. It's like they took the idea of tampons for gunshots and made it so much better.
  4. Nice look, that little hint of a recurve behind the belly will make a huge difference in performance.
  5. 2 years? Crap, I've got enough .22 for awhile but I'll definitely be scaling back even more than I already have. I shoot way more 9mm than I used to because it's at least available.     Used to shoot .22 to 9mm in a 6:1 ratio. Down to 3:1 and probably dropping to close to 1:1 for the foreseeable future.
  6. I have a partially used brick of golden bullets that I use for malfunction drills because I'm pretty much guaranteed 2 per 10 rounds
  7. Probably had a second battery wired up in the trunk to help run the lights. Looks like it might have shorted out on something that came loose.
  8. Nashville and Franklin are great. Lots of good golf courses around here.

  10. Since the 7.62 has less muzzle energy than a .30-30 in comparable loadings (ballistics101.com), I'd say soft point.
  11. At 50 yards a pistol will provide you mostly cover fire imo. Giving you time to turn tail and run your *** away.
  12. Hasn't been a death from a copperhead bite in the last 50 years or so.
  13.   This is correct.   As someone who's studied and handled thousands of wild snakes (both venomous and non venomous) I stand by my earlier statement.
  14. Good for Ohio my birth state. Sad that my adopted state TN didn't join in.
  15. .38 Special. Snakes aren't much of a threat. If you have time to draw and fire at that small of a target you have time to get away. Your main concern is of the 2 legged variety.
  16. And here I thought he was the guy reciting text messages for Sprint...
  17. Best gun forum I've ever been a member of! Welcome to the fold!
  18. That's not a bombshell but it's a bit surprising to hear such a prominent figure discuss it openly
