  1. Crap. Wish I'd seen this sooner.
  2. I've got one and I love it. Very comfortable.
  3. I'm tempted to give one of these a try. A bit skeptical given the price but who knows. https://www.lehmans.com/p-2828-amish-made-casualwork-leather-belts.aspx?show=all
  4. Best of luck! TWRA jobs are few and far between but if you can get in you will be there forever. At least that's what they all tell me.
  5. Yep. Black Kingsnake. Great snakes to have around even if you aren't fond of snakes because their presence will keep other more harmful snakes away.
  6. I've made a few knives but nothing that nice. Good work!

    Advice needed

Good info above. Personally I wouldn't take multiple weapons packed in the same bag. Increases the risk of them "disappearing" in between Nashville and Cali. JMHO.
  8. Nothing gun related on my Jeep nor is there much of value inside it unless they feel like lugging a couple heavy toolboxes with them.
  9. I'm just getting started with a DE razor.   Razor http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Safety-Razor-Model-LP1822L/dp/B004N77JVY/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1400610595&sr=1-1&keywords=Lord+Razor     Shave Set http://www.amazon.com/Van-Hagen-Premium-Shave-Brush/dp/B001A3HPT0/ref=sr_1_13?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1400610595&sr=1-13&keywords=Lord+Razor     I need to get or build a stand and try a couple different razors.   I've been rotating through a sampler pack of blades and have a Feather, and Astra and a few Gillettes left to try.
  10. Yes it's a Dekay's Brown Snake (Storeia dekayi)       And yes it's illegal to kill any snake in Tennessee unless you are in imminent danger of your life. TWRA officers interpret that very strictly. If you have time to go get a weapon, shovel, etc... to kill the snake then you aren't in imminent danger.  If you have time to draw, take aim and fire then you aren't in imminent danger.
  11. Welcome to the board. I'm a transplant myself. Go Blue!
  12.   I used to do presentations like that a couple times a week when I lived in Ohio and had a much bigger collection of captive animals. Now I'm much more into studying the animals in the wild and leaving them alone. I do still have a couple pets to do show and tell with for kids but nothing like I used to.
  13. As my name suggests, I'm a big snake fan. Really I'm a fan of all reptiles and amphibians but snakes have a special place in my heart as I've spend a decade researching them.
  14. The WR-100 has bad reviews for not always receiving a signal. I heard they only work in certain areas (which you found out the hard way). Maybe someone on here lives in a more rural area and would find it useful.
  15. Welcome! My whole family is from Michigan (sadly I was born just south of the border in Ohio). Family in Interlochen, Muskegeon, Grand Ledge, and Birmingham to name a few. Moved here a few years ago and never looked back!   Avoid Franklin Gun Shop unless you want to spend way over going rate for guns, Nashville Armory isn't bad (nice range and good gun selection). If you want to venture to the north side of Nashville, you can't beat D&T arms (small but treat members here wonderfully) and Guns and Leather. Both are really good shops to do business with.
  16.   What model is it? I might be able to figure it out for you
  17. Schools are dismissing early in some areas. I just got the email that Cheatham County is dismissing at 1:00.
  18. I need get off my butt and order that weather alert radio I've been looking at for awhile...
  19. Welcome from Bellevue! (Right next door to Brentwood)
  20. If she likes Italian than Sambuca is a solid choice. It's spendy but good.
  21. Not to threadjack but I'm another Alien Gear fan. Shipping is slow as crap (took me a month to get mine) but it's a darn good holster.     On topic, I keep debating about getting a shield. It will happen one of these days
