Deputy Sheriff Protects Activists First Amendment Rights
Shug replied to daddyo's topic in General Chat
The Albany county sheriff's office should be proud of deputy Lenic. He's was the most professional LEO that I have ever seen {I even use to be one} He stayed courteous and professional thru out the whole ordeal. Even with that old rube demanding he toss them out. The look on his face when he wouldn't was priceless. even "winking" at the deputy wouldn't work. Bet he gave the deputy's supervisor a headache with all the phone calls. -
A guy stuck his head into a barber shop and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut?' The barber looked around the shop full of customers and said, 'About 2 hours.' The guy left. A few days later, the same guy stuck his head in the door and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut?' The barber looked around at the shop and said, 'About 3 hours.' The guy left. A week later, the same guy stuck his head in the shop and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut. The barber looked around the shop and said, 'About an hour and a half.' The guy left. The barber turned to his friend and said, 'Hey, Bob, do me a favor. Follow that guy and see where he goes. He keeps asking how long he has to wait for a haircut, but then he doesn't come back.' A little while later, Bob returned to the shop, laughing hysterically. The barber asked, 'So, where does that guy go when he leaves?' Bob looked up, wiped the tears from his eyes and said, 'Your house!'

At some point in a guy's life... it comes down to this. Four guys have been going to the same fishing trip for many years. Two days before the group is to leave, Ron's wife puts her foot down and tells him he isn't going. Ron's mates are very upset that he can't go, but what can they do. Two days later the three get to the camping site only to find Ron sitting there with a tent set up,firewood gathered, and dinner cooking on the fire. "Dang Ron, how long you been here, and how did you talk your missus into letting you go?" "Well, I've been here since yesterday evening. I was sitting in my chair and my wife came up behind me and put her hands over my eyes and said, "Guess who?" I pulled her hands off, and she was wearing a brand new see through nightie. She took my hand and pulled me to our bedroom. The room had candles and rose petals all over. On the bed she had handcuffs, and ropes! She told me to tie and cuff her to the bed, and I did. And then she said, "Do whatever you want." So, Here I am. Who wants a beer? __________________

Checked out some new ruger 10/22's today at Benton Shooters. Looking for a SS International with a walnut stock. They had the black take-down, regular run of the mill ones, even had one of those "cattle drive" laser engraved deals. but what caught my eye was a wooden looking stock with basket weave checkering. But upon closer inspection the stock looked like it was plastic. Does Ruger use fake wooden stocks now?
You can get close to the same thing at your local miil surp store. They were used here back in the fifties and sixties by our army. Nice to see the Chicoms catching up.
This was what I was thinking, this idea isn't anything new. The U.S. military had them. thats what they used to dig foxholes with. Heck I've got two. I'm sure e-bay has them also

How to get more men interested in turkey hunting
just something someone created to stir things up??
It's just amazeing how many weak minded people believe all the crap they read on the internet, and that they hear from like minded people. If anyone of these people understood anything about how the goverment worked they might understand. Even though I did not vote for him, I don't understand how people think that Obama can do all this crazy sh*t that people put on the net. He can't just up and take everyone's firearms. He can't just up and band all these firearms. He can't do any of these things that is all over the internet, just because he might want to. Have any of ya'll ever heard of Congress? or the Senate? For the President to pass a bill into law it must first pass Congress. I sick of hearing about how pissed off people are that other people voted four years ago for Obama because they wanted a change. Most of these people are die hard GM drivers. With out him, there would be no more GM. Now I'm not saying I know what is ahead for the country. But these weak minded people that hate whom is president and everyone that voted for him need to realize that you friends and coworkers did not elect the man. The president it elected by the electoral college, not the popular vote.............Rant over...............Let the hate mail begain

Turkey Fryers ... Outdoor Oil/Propane vs Inside Electric
Shug replied to xRUSTYx's topic in General Chat
Another reason to cook them outside beside burning your house down, is you don't have that cooked grease smell all over your house for days. If you have never cooked one or been around someone that is cooking one go check out Deep frying turkeys on You tube. You will learn to respect it quick -
Turkey Fryers ... Outdoor Oil/Propane vs Inside Electric
Shug replied to xRUSTYx's topic in General Chat
Guess I'll chime in now. I have both an electric and a gas cooker. The electric is easier to mantain temp. I use them both outside, it depends on the weather which I use. Yes you can reuse the oil. Filter it good and store it in a cool place. I've found that after I remove the bird I toss in a cut up potato, it cleans the oil. If the oil is a peanut blend I use it twice. Full peanut I use three times. Alot of times I save enough to cook fish in. One of the main things is not to get into a rush. I inject and rub the turkey at least one day early. Also take it out of the fridge a couple or hours before time to cook it. These are just somethings that I've learned....Lately I've been considering a Char-Broil Big Easy infrared cooker. Got a buddy that loves his, he says no more oil for him -
I don't hate Christmas, The reason is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. But it has become so commercial and about the "almighty dolar" that it's hard to enjoy the season.

I got one that moved in this the summer that ties a dog up on the front porch every morning at 5am, and leaves it till 8 except the weekends and she leaves it till about 11. And the beast does not want to be outside. I've never seen a dog that can bark that long non-stop. I've tried speaking to her but she is evidently deaf because it's still there and it don't seem to bother her. The local LEO's are too interested chasing little ole ladies down for not coming to a complete stop at stop signs. I've tried to be nice since it's a single mother and her son. But enough is enough

What's a rack grade running now days

Just wondering if Im the only one that detests the holidays more ever year. I just can't get in any kind of holiday spirit anymore. It's just that everything is just too commercial now days. When stores start with Christmas decorations before halloween and valentine's day on Christmas night, they all just seem to loose meaning
