  11. I have a serious question for all of you reloaders. If the components readily available. New brass, primer, powder, bullet. At the prices that were before the relection. And you made loads to factory specs, about what would the cost be per round? Compaired to a box 50 of factory range loads what would be the saveings? Also what would be a simple entry level set up? Everything a person would need to reload. Tumbler, press, measures, ect... Do they package a complete kit?..... I've been mulling over the idea for years on reloading. Don't know if I would enjoy it or not. I do reload shotgun shells and enjoy it {Till my boys get into my stash} All help is appreciated.

    Benton Shooters

Brad Ramsey the owner of Benton's is always quick to jack up the prices. I've bought quite a few firearms from him when he first opened. But after I went there to buy a Ruger SR1911 and they wouldn't sell it, They wanted people to pay for it in full and wait for some to come in before they could have one. I said I wouldn't buy anymore firearms from them. I still go there and wonder around and window shop. I was there one day and AR magazines were about $13.00 each and this older lady was looking for a shotgun for her son for Christmas. The sells man asked her what he was going to hunt with it and she told him he was just going to keep it at home. Well this jackleg told her she needed this Benelli M4 and nothing else would do. So he rooked her into buying a $2000 shotgun. I went back the next day with my son and the AR magazines were $25. The place was packed and fokes were carring out AR's left and right. Tula .223 ammo was $799 per 1000. Every one that bought an AR bought a case of ammo and at least 3 extra mags. If you don't mind paying double they probley have whatever you want.

    Justified!

Still can't get that image of Boyd on SOA out of my mind.....Last nights show brought back some memories of Knoxville past. In 1985 a drug smuggling skydiver was found dead in some guys yard.
  19. Looking at these prices, and what people are paying for stuff is getting to me. I swore I'd never sell my toys. But as it's looking Im sitting on a new 2013 F250 King Ranch 4x4, bought and paid for.......Stop the madness!
  20. Yes it was the Posey auction, I try to go every year just to watch some of the prices. And every now and then you can pick up a deal
  21. Went to a gun auction yesteday. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I never would have believed it. Sks's going for $650, AR 15 type weapons going $ 1500-2000. a M&P ar with a light and a Cheap sight went for $2500 plus a 10% buyers premium, plus 9.25% tax, plus $10 state fee, plus $10 paper work fee put the gun at over $3000.00. A box of 500rds of 5.56 went for $400. This was just an inkling of what went on. It's hard to comperhend what people are willing to pay.
  22. I've got an old $2 red seal that my dad put in a wallet he gave me for christmas back in the 60's. He said it was bad luck to give a wallet without money in it
  23. Try paying with $1 coins. The Susan B Anthony is the best {they think it is a quarter} Then the Sacagawea does good also.
  24. The bad thing is everything Sour Kraut says about this is true. I walk with a cane and these bunch of goobers will knock you down. If you don't have a cold when you enter there is a good chance you will have when you leave
  25. Yeap, been dusted a few times. Gets pretty rough.   David whats gonna be your prices on 9mm and 223 per 1000rds? Might have to go watch all the excitement also. I haven't been to the Jacobs Bldg since that vender shot himself.
