  1. It's a paradigm, you keep it because you're afraid it's not junk. But is junk, or is it?     but yeah, one came with my blackhawk holster... whatever it is.
  2.   See, that's what I'm talkin about!
  3. Should work with a retail or .iso image. Probably not an OEM disk however.
  4. Lets face it David, we will suck up any schwag you produce.   Where's the adult onesie with built in socks and two big TGO emblems on the butt cheeks?
  5.   Drive into centenial park during one of the craft fairs in a Ford Raptor with a reinforced bumper. 10 points if the zombie has a scarf. 20 if they're carrying a starbucks cup. 150 if you find the one that bought a didgeridoo.
  6.   Ok, lets build the scenario. A disease hits globally that causes teeth and nails to fall off. Only 2A guys are immune because of their increased endorphine levels. Liberal zombies stick mostly to coffee shops and malls.   Unlike 28 days later, the zombies rot and fall apart after 2 weeks.   Oh, and since we're dreaming, we have a functional pro 2a government... so society continues on without all the silly nannies.
  7.   I haven't been out your way in a very long time. 8 years maybe. I can't imagine it's changed much. I used to get a kick out of driving past the nuclear cooling tower out there. Creepy looking thing.
  8.   Well, bulk here meaning a sealed box containing X number of boxes of a specific caliber. They don't usually get more than 1-2 of each caliber. Don't look at the shelves, talk to the employee and try to get there around 7am and 7-8pm. Trucks come daily so it's really more about "how often can you get to walmart" vs. finding out exactly when it arrives. Seeing as how you're in hartsville... that's a bit of a drive for you either direction. Might I suggest moving out of the two stoplight town? :D :D :D   I kid of course. Could be Red Boiling Springs! Or even Carthage!
  9. I worked at a walmart for a few years during highschool. Granted thats been more than 15 years ago... but I never saw crated items loose shipped. it always came in bulk and then broken down for individual sale. As BigK said, I don't see a distribution center trying to evenly spread out ammo box by box. they are just going to start at the top of the orders and ship till its gone. if they have loose boxes at the distro, its time to start watching the DVR.
  10. Got mine today. very nice quality!   Now if i could just get out of my current beater truck into something nicer...i'd have a place to stick it.
  11. assault water.... at least it was Hi-cap. In New York they can only have these.
  12. Little miffed at Walmart today. 1 of 2 locations equal distance apart showed they had 100rnd packs available. I know they only stock during the day (this location at least). I get there at 7am as normal. There's 4 guys in front of me. The sporting goods guy rolls out the cart and starts his tax stamping.   When he finishes he asks the first fellow what he'd like. He says 223 obviously. Walmart rep pulls out 3 100 round boxes that are stamped. But he pulls them out of a box which has what appears to be Winchester .308 in it. Sells it to the guy and then goes to the next customer. Next guy also wants .223. "That was it" is the response.   Now wait a minute... how are there just three loose boxes? Seems to me there should be at least 6 total unless someone got some special treatment and bought three the evening before or it's stashed behind the counter someplace. Now granted, I wouldn't have gotten any because early bird gets the worm but the 2nd guy in line just got hosed.   But, lets face it. If I came in the night before and they had it, I would have asked to buy some.
  13. oh I know, but the likelihood of us getting an ACTUAL 2 week zombie outbreak without danger of permanent disfigurement are pretty low. so I opt'd for the "close enough" scenario. :)
  14. I feel you on the week... and I'm dying to go shoot. Brand new AR15... maybe got to put 100 rounds through it in the last several months.
  15. Pitched my hat in the ring on this and said a prayer for you and your family. Take it easy TGO brother.
  16. Shew, I knew Trent had been becoming more public after the social network, dragon tattoo and the various games like black ops 2... but i got a little nervous when i saw the name of this post.
  17. I hate to say it but i've flown at least 7 times in the last 2 years with a Gerber Curve attached to a Niteize S-Biner along with my keys (can't stand them in my pocket so i walk around like a janitor). I throw them in the pan along with the wallet, belt and the rest. Never had a word said to me about it. Usually they'll say "you can't stack shoes on your laptop!" Or i've even had them question me about having a variety of inkpens in my pack. But the knife? Nada.   For the record, I always carry a pocket knife which i put in my luggage but it's always when i'm in the line that i realize i have that on my keychain. I figure if they say someting about it i'll tell them to keep it or chuck it in the trash.
  18. looks good but I prefer mine hairless...
  19. I'm ok with this.

  21.   Right, there's plenty of evidence that those walkers love some meat. Wonder if they'd go after a mcdonalds burger... there's obviously no meat there :D
  22.   Because animals are typical skiddish when not domesticated and only allow so much proximity. Of course, guns change that because they don't understand projectiles.   Also you'll recall they ate Rick's horse.   I think analog may be thinking about dawn of the dead where the dog was ignored by the zombies outside the mall.
  23. I don't know what's more awesome, the G19, the AA12 or the fact that Ronald McDonald is dumping some buckshot in the background.   ***Edit***   Also worth noting that the famous cigar is poking out of Billdozers chest pocket.
  24. So i've thought about this "vacation" and I think i've come up with a pretty good scenario.   Instead of open world apoc... I think the best way to simulate this would be in a closed environment. For the gamers out there I mean Left 4 Dead style.   Create an enclosed, linear but somewhat spacious scenario with goals such as "get to the farm house" or "make it to the military base" with some type of quarantined zone in between. Weapons have actual report but do not fire a projectile.. so blanks and lasers. Zombie actors wear suits which indicate to them when they've been hit. Survivors must gather certain supplies along the way but they will be limited. Not sure how you would do melee unfortunately as carrying a nerf axe etc. just wouldn't feel right... plus you'd have people beating the hell outta some poor guy in a panic.   You could culminate it at the end with a pickup by a humvee column and the survivors get to man the 50's as they roll out through the final stretch of the course.     Or.... we could all do the zombie 5k  http://www.runforyourlives.com/
  25. I think I speak for everyone here by saying that TGO members (pun intended) don't have problems with this particular gun.
