  1. I've got a six year old who hasn't shot anything beyond a pellet rifle. I also have this old rohm .22lr revolver that I've never even loaded. Might be fun taking him out to shoot it.
  2.   I didn't see it personally, but there a bunch of folks complaining about it on reddit under the Zimmerman verdict thread   http://www.reddit.com/r/news/comments/1i92gv/george_zimmerman_found_not_guilty/   ***Edit - Rereading it may be that they just interviewed children in general... still deplorable (and par for the liberal media course)
  3. Bro's are mad.   Personally, I think the kid improved the song. A chorus of dying cats would be an improvement over Carly Rae Jepsen.
  4. I don't know what's worse dolomite. The cut or the fact that you made a montage of it set to that song.
  5. So... apparently CNN interviewed the Sandy Hook kids about the trial....  :squint:
  6.   Woops, yeah I reposted. Saw it and linked it from mobile without looking.  :ugh:

  8. Yup, looks sci-fi. I like it. Your next challenge is periwinkle and salmon
  9. Sitting in a box waiting on the Wrangler Unlimited I'm planning on buying before long...
  10.   Same, unless it's just a text to a friend or relative, I wait until I can get to my PC. I've got photoshop but I don't typically open photos with it unless I plan to edit. We have every digital picture we've taken since I think 2002.. I tend to not edit often than I do :D
  11.   That makes it sound way more interesting that I found it. I spawned on the beach, got a hatchet and was shot by sniper. then I spawned on the beach again, made a friend but then we were killed by a pack of beach campers. It would have taken an hour to meet up with my new friend so I ran inland instead to get away from the beach. Skipped 4-5 settlements in case there were humans around. Finally snuck into a house and got a gun. Stepped outside and sniped again. Yeah.. I'm done here.
  12. that's not mine. I'm not really a Glock guy (don't throw things at me). I just saw it online while back.
  13.   It's just silly for the sake of silly. But I understand, I feel the same way about a dude in an Einstein costume rapping   It used to make TGO'r BigK mad at work. He'd be cracking up watching it, shoot me a link and I wouldn't even chuckle
  14. The data included depends on the capability of the device or features enabled. I never allow any of my devices to geo-tag and my online photo albums aren't shared.   Typically if I upload something to TGO for instance, I just manually remove the EXIFS. (On Windows 7: right click on the image file > properties > details tab > remove properties and personal information at the bottom)
  15. I like everything on the internet and I really mean everything. The stupidest of things will have me laughing for months on end. Here's an example:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=414TmP12WAU     But for whatever reason, I just stare at those epic rap battles and never crack a smile
  16. At least it looks uniform. Maybe you should have just melted it :)
  17. This reminds of the FAL I was dying for back in my 20's. I told my father in law all about them every time we talked. Then on my birthday one year I was at his house and he says happy birthday and hands me a box of .308. I just looked at him puzzled and then he picks up this beautiful FN FAL and hands it to me.... I was blown away....   ....then he said "LOOK WHAT I GOT! NOW YOU'VE GOT SOME AMMO AND CAN SHOOT IT SOME TIME!"   I nearly shot it... right then and there.... if you know what I mean ;D   Oddly enough, I never looked at the FAL again....
  18. LOL, awesome. If you don't get this one, rewatch Die Hard
  19. I normally don't do stuff like this but I'm pissed. If you need a roof and you're in the Mount Juliet area, avoid Ambassador Construction like the plague.   I'll try to keep it short.   A storm ripped up my roof a few years ago. Ambassador storm chases and tells us we need to tarp. I call my insurance company to ask their advice and they agree. I check out Ambassador (BBB looks good, owner seems honest) so I let them do the work. It takes their sales team the better part of a month to produce two sets of sample shingles. I pick the midgrade set with a 40 year warranty. We submit the expenses to our insurance company, they agree to it and send the check. Ambassador stops communicating with me. I wait weeks with no word. Go home for lunch one day to find at least 30 Latino's on my roof, no problem with Latino's but not a single one speaks English so I can't ask them any questions. They slap the roof on without a word and leave. Job seems ok so we deliver the checks to Ambassador. They say we need to submit for more money from insurance. Almost $10,000 for this roof on a 1440sqft house. Insurance surprisingly pays it. My wife learns along the way they didn't put down new decking despite the fact it was paid for. Two weeks later it rains and I've got two leaks. Call ambassador and they come out and fiddle around. Next rain, one of the leaks is back. Call again...  (here's where it gets interesting).   This time instead of a worker, I have 3 guys show up in collared shirts. One of them is a lawyer. He says that they are in a legal battle with the shingle manufacturer and are trying to replace our roof but it is tied up and will take time "but don't worry, we will take care of you". A few months later, the leak is back. I call again and throw a fit. I ask for the lawyer who's employed by Ambassador, they give me a NEW lawyer who tells me the old lawyer was new and didn't know what he was doing "no one is complaining about these shingles, there's no case". They send someone out to fix the leak. Haven't seen anything from that leak in a few months   Sitting on my couch this evening and a storm rolls in "plop, plop, plop" the first leak is back ....    I have nothing positive to say about this experience and will NEVER recommend their work to anyone and I hope you all learn from my lesson.
  20. Welcome to the best 9mm you'll probably ever own.
  21. Looks like fun!
  22. I won't be ordering any consoles or the games until I know they are solid. I did competitive gaming for years but these days I'm just as happy playing that same $60 title a few months later for $15.   I got burned on diablo 3, I got burned on bf3 and with 2 kids... I don't like wasting $60 on a title... much less a new console for a single title. I'm optimistic but realistic :)
  23. Golden Coral on a sunday gives me the willies. I made that mistake once... I also got drug to a ryans and watched a behemoth woman rake mashed potatoes off the big spoon with her finger. Then she tried to hand it to me. I just started at her blankly. I do like some Piccadilly though. Mmmm chicken fried chicken.
  24. Awesome news. Two years ago I bought myself a full suspension and started trail riding. Got up to 20 mile rides a day...every weekend. Then I put it down for two years and its like starting over again...
