29 seconds. Yet another AR with no optics :/

    Went yesterday. Got my $18 haircut. Put $3 down for a tip clearly wrote $21 in the total. Got home and she rang me up as a $7 tip. Was not pleased.

Thanks to Ted I got my son out to the range for the first time today. I expected him to jump at every shot he heard for the first 10 minutes but even with BigK shooting his XDS 45 in the next lane.... he never flinched. I started him off with a Ruger Mark II and then moved up to an M&P 15-22. It took him a few seconds to understand the red dot, but soon enough he was doing mag dumps in about 6-7 seconds with his mouth wide open in excitement! At 15 yards he was a heck of a shot. Lets just say, you wouldn't have wanted to be on the receiving end. He didn't come out of the black often. We even let him have a crack at a CZ P-01 and a CZ Shadow. He fired 1 from each and though it kicked him harder, he didn't complain about it. Big thanks to Ted for giving him an experience to talk about for some time to come. Also thanks to BigK for being awesome as usual and supplying the firearms. Looks like i'm on the hook for buying at .22lr now :)

Fast zombies are cheatin!   I believe you would need to master the art of misdirection. Come up with something that makes more noise than you do and it's easily deployed. Firecrackers etc. Something you can throw to lead them away. I believe Morgan on the walking dead had the right idea. Build traps that will take advantage of their inability to problem solve. Maybe place bells around the town attached to ropes so if you need to head out... you can misdirect them. The only problem with that is that it takes time and you're basically idle which makes you a mark with scavengers.

  He was rich before he made that movie and he'll be rich afterwards. I wouldn't buy a ticket to listen to him rattle off his terrible political views... but I will buy a ticket to watch this movie. I studied 3D modeling and animation in college. It would have been my career but life happened and I had to switch gears and enter the world of systems administration. But I can still appreciate the work required to produce good quality CGI. I've just come to terms with the idea that the holywoodites will always have poor/unrealistic views on life and liberty.

  ^this   Depending on the area of MJ you can get Fiber channel. They also offer TV, DVR, phones, etc. I "think" the price is competitive.

  As soon as i saw it I thought... that's either a Glock logo or it's in missing man formation for the G18!

You should be proud, it's nice! Now you just need a forward sling mount and sling and a flashlight and a laser and a supressor and a 45 degree rail set and a set of iron sights and a backup reddot and a battery moe core and b.a.d. lever and some ranger plates and some mag couplers and a infrared laser and a forklift to carry it all around. :D
