  1. Thanks for all the tips guys, not just about shaving my dome, but also on addressing his illness. He's actually a very open guy. He took on the mindset early that it's not going to defeat him and he freely chats with anyone who asks him. We keep it minimal though, outside of being supportive and telling him we've got his back we don't chat about it. So as an update, I currently only have stubble. Just waiting on the wife's reaction before I go full blown Hesienberg For the record, ole Walt's got a few years on me :D
  2. My coworker has Hodgkin's lymphoma and is currently undergoing radiation and kemo. Real standup guy who still shows up to work every day despite the nausea and weakness. He typically doesn't stay but he's determined to carry on as normal so I salute him for that. Last night he shaved his head because it's falling out and I could tell today that he really felt out of place.   So it's not an original idea by any means, but I've gotten together with the other guys on the team and we're going to walk in together tomorrow morning sporting the chrome domes.   That being said, any advice on skull shaving for a first timer? :D
  3. saw this earlier today. To me, the bikers were up to no good. If we take it at face value (presuming the driver didn't antagonize off camera) .. you're suddenly surrounded by a sea of guys on bikes, they're swarming around you and hitting their brakes and you've got your family in the car... Then they box you in and start approaching the vehicle??   Yeah, i'm gonna mow through repeatedly until I drive into the police station.
  4. Lol, I can't quote anything text book, but I'm pretty sure the Sherman had little to no armor. They won because of sheer numbers.they rolled out TONS of those things. The germans tigers, panzers etc. Were so tough that the sherman guns couldn't phase them unless it was a hit to the rear. But for every Sherman they killed, there were another 5 rolling off the assembly line. ***edit*** Oh, my point here being....if you're looking for something to protect you from modern armor piercing and explosives, I wouldn't shack up in a Sherman :D
  5. Personally (and this is an oldie but goodie) I would have went with fluffy
  6.     "He got birch slapped" is my fav :)
  7. So true it hurts.
  8. Yeah I stopped by one in KY and they were pretty high on everything.
  9. Apparently we're getting a Gander Mountain out near providence.   https://www.facebook.com/MtJulietPolice     "#MtJuliet Mayor Hagerty announced via social media that Gander Mountain & Chuck E. Cheese's will be new residents to the city soon at a location near Interstate 40 & Two Rivers Ford."
  10. This article provides a little insight into the bar scene at the end of the last episode.   http://tv.yahoo.com/news/breaking-bad-made-dying-boy-wish-come-true-153505871.html
  11. It feels so nice to get a piece of history in doesn't it?

  13.   All Dells are this way. It's because of how they're imaged at the factory       Depends on the model. On some it's Ctrl + F11. On some it's from the F8 menu http://en.kioskea.net/faq/7319-dell-inspiron-restore-to-factory-default-settings   For a short period it was even on the plain F11 menu.  *****remember, this will wipe your drive***** Sorry, Always feel the need to say that.   The trouble is, if that machine was ever reinstalled, that partition is dead and gone.     ***Edit*** Also, Rightwinger, if you're not able to get this fixed by one of the previous posters, shoot me a PM and i'll get you squared away.
  14. The P-01 is my next purchase. Though I fired BigK's new CZ-97 today and now I need one of those to!

  16. No need to explain. I've got zero game but I couldn't rip one in front of a hotty. 12 years of marriage and my wife and I still don't do it unless by accident.
  17.   Good idea. You wouldn't want to ruin your chances. :D :D :D
  18.   Seriously... I broke my neck when I was younger and still got to business in the neck brace.

  20. EXACTLY what came to mind. The M41a pulse rifle! I would nerdgasm if I could have a working one. ;)
  21. This is correct. I've had one of the railed rear covers and it would shimmy.
  22. yeah but I had it wrong.....
  23. I would have been excited as far back as Black....I would even give them Fuel, but anything after that...I'll pass. For the record.. and justice for all is still my all-time favorite roadtrip music. I could listen to it start to finish. Edit: err loaded, not fuel.
  24.   During my class, i watched a guy dump 10 rounds in the wood next to the target and he passed with a perfect score because the instructor didn't catch it.   Then again, my instructor also told us to "try shooting ghettos style". I was floored by it. Seems like he could be in some serious poo-doo if someone caught him doing that.
