The newer embedded intel chipsets are certainly better than they used to be, but it's a fools errand to try 3d modeling/rendering on one. OP said he had an MSI gaming laptop though. It's likely got an nvidia or AMD card.

Well, hopefully he'll get some hard time for violating his probation. Because rest assured if he doesn't, you've likely made a new best friend. They're likely a moron who would blame you for going jail instead of their own stupidity.

I'm the one who administrates!

2nd opinion for sure man. This is also a good opportunity to strengthen your weak side shooting. Tough, but not impossible.

Well, they're no white walkers.... but that'll do pig, that'll do.

I do the same thing at work..... Stan: Please email @all that X will be released this week Comms: What will the users see? Stan: Well if they're doing X, they could see Y. But if Y is already in place, then they may see Z. But If Z doesn't work, it may be because X and Y weren't updated, in which case they'll need to update X and Y Comms: So they'll get a popup? Stan: Yes..... Later that week Comms: "To all, this week we are doing X. Just click OK on the popup"

Short quoting your post due to the size. You've got some very valid information here and those of us who understand it will either agree or have some other complex means of countering your methods, but your average Joe... they're probably looking over this glassy eyed, panicked or just said TL;DR to the whole post. Now, this is presuming you wrote this for everyone, but might I suggest preening this down into something that "Bobbie-Joe Facebook" can follow? I doubt they'll need to know the in's and outs of ASCII or likely ever go read an HTML header. Please be aware, I mean this constructively.

Just take a USB backup of the OS using windows built-in recovery tools. Then you can reformat it to Windows 7. If something goes wrong, boot to the USB drive and reinstall from the image you took. Easy money. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive

Caster, you should change your signature to "Me and tech don't get along". You're always posting about something on your computer/phone you dislike. Put it down man and walk away! :D

I'm super secure. I've had the same username and password for 12 years! Stantheman Karate12345! I've got a capital, letters numbers and an exclamation point. That's the only real way to secure your stuff. In fact, if you use this same combo on every website you visit it's mega secure and you don't have to remember something different! I even use it for my US banking website! Hope this helps!

The new trend with gaming is paying for early access. A lot of Indie gaming companies now ask you to pay upwards of $30 to play their game while they test it for release. Sometimes that goes on for years. Minecraft is a perfect example. Another one is Kerbal Space Program. You could buy it as early as 2011 and play while they added/changed things. The official release date was in April of 2015. The large players like Microsoft do this as well but usually without the fee. Microsofts WIndows 10 Insider Preview has been available for quite awhile. Operating systems are huge though, it's easy to overlook bugs and miss out on driver compatibility etc.

I can sum up Falling Skies for those of you who haven't watched it. Tom Mason: I'm going to go on a suicide mission Captain Weaver: God D****it Tom Mason, that's a suicide mission Tom Mason: I know but if we don't, this thing will happen Captain Weaver: You come back in one piece Tom Mason, you hear me? Tom Mason: I'm taking Pope with me... Pope: Tom Mason, who do you think you are? Strutting around like you own the place? Tom Mason: We'll settle this score later, right now I need you *some explosions later* Pope: Tom Mason, maybe I was wrong about you Captain Weaver: Tom Mason you son of b****h, I knew you'd make it out alive Tom Mason: If it wasn't for Pope, I may not have *queue new alien with all consonants in name* Tom Mason: Mother of God..... *next episode* Tom Mason: I'm going to go on a suicide mission Captain Weaver: God D****it Tom Mason, tha....................

When I was a kid I was really into the Civil War and I had a confederate flag in my bedroom that stayed up for years. I even had it put on my class ring when I graduated. It was just what I was into... I liked the time period. It had nothing to do with slavery. Same way with Vietnam... watching endless hours of Tour of Duty with my parents. and gleaning what little information my father wanted to share about his experience... I certainly wasn't into the tragedies of that war. I still love the WWII era, Allies and Axis alike... it's just interesting. That interest has nothing to do with the terrible massacre of innocents the Nazi's performed.... When I see a Nazi flag or confederate flag, I see history, not hatred. Of course, not everyone is like me.

Looks like the dukes boys just got themselves into a heapa trouble.... This is surprising, they were never meanin' no harm after all.

Because nobody can break it like a user..... and there's always some enterprising hacker who's looking for zero day exploits or there's some odd combination of button clicks that QA didn't figure out. Plus it's not just the device, every company has release cycles and emergency patches. So your phone needs updates, the apps need updates, the software that interfaces with your computer needs updates, the computer has new features or vulnerabilities that need patching. Meanwhile, outside of your house, the network providers need to update their switches or replace cables, then in the company that made the product has guys like me who have to watch for security flaws or deploy updates to servers or workstations... and we have software platforms that come from vendors and THEY have updates as well. That's just tech man.....

Good looking rifle, but what's that rubber thing on the end of the stock? You can't bruise your shoulder with that contraption....

Very cool. I was a few feet away from an A-12 not long ago. I think the SR-71 is better looking though. I mean.... look at that thing...
