  1. Don't judge me! Good to "see" you David.
  2. You were with me when that lady kept hitting the metal divider at the range... she was maybe 2 feet to the right at 10 yards! I made her do the brass trick for about 10 minutes and then suddenly she's shooting softball sized groups center mass.
  3. Found that online... I am not a cat person. https://www.elegantandarmed.com/blog/trigger-pull-is-doing-whats-natural-messing-up-your-shot This lady seems to have a good writeup and pictures.
  4. Popping up like the ghost of Christmas past on this one (I haven't posted in YEARS). These guys are steering you right, though I would add a bit. Down and to the left also sounds like you're anticipating recoil and you have too much finger on the trigger. TDR is dead on, get a video of yourself, that will tell you alot. A couple other things you can do. 1. ensure the gun is unloaded and put a piece of spent brass on the front sight (or as close as you can get it). Then pull the trigger naturally, see if it falls off. work the slide and try it again (did i say yet to make sure it was empty?). Don't fire a live round until you can balance that thing consistently 2. have your buddy load your magazine but sneak in a snap cap somewhere in there. When you hit it, you'll likely notice how much recoil anticipation you're doing because your gun will dip without the "boom" 3. squeeze the trigger, don't pull it or yank it. It should surprise you. Make sure you're using 3/4 pad on your index (just google it for pictures). Try to teach yourself to bend the trigger finger from your second knuckle, not the third. If you're bending the entire finger, you will push the gun left (assuming you're righty).
  5. CZ and H&K fan, own both. P-09 is way more interesting to me. 19+1 capacity? Um, yes please. Omega trigger rocks
  6. Only if you're desperate. IIRC you have to pay to park and then pay to get in. The selection won't be great either. The best shows around are typically in Hendersonville and Murfreesboro. Likewise I would also avoid Lebanon fairgrounds and there's one out past Franklin. "Usually" the RK shows are good https://rkshows.com/. Looks like there's one in the boro on the 25th? It's confusing because the text inside the date says the 18th-19th.
  7. Friend of mine linked me this from Reddit earlier today. Terrifying http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=1311756 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=-KJq23shaTc&app=desktop
  8. and a new pair of tidy whiteys!
  9. terrifying isn't it?
  10. That's exactly what I was thinking. All that went through my mind reading it was this video (i'm sure we've all seen it)
  11. I'm not a Beretta guy but that's a nice looking sidearm.
  12. Yeah I watched it. She did a great job. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  13. My wife is a fan of gaga. She had been reading online that she planned to make some anti-Trump speech, to which she was going to be very disappointed. So kudos to gaga for not going there... or maybe it's kudos to the people that told her not to
  14. Anyone bought one of their generators? Every time i'm in there I pause for a few moments but man, that, that seems like a risky purchase from there. haha!
  15. Man what a pretty rifle
  16. with moves like that..no wonder it's a wedding. I hear those maneuvers are bonafied panty droppers.
  17. I've got the beginnings of a pistol but i've been thinking 10.5" so i have the reliability of a carbine length gas system.. but i like the 7.5" looks... thought maybe if i bought one that was prebuilt i might not see the same level of issues.
  18. Is that muzzle device pinned or welded on? I have the KX3 and want to use it but i like that look
  19. years ago there used to be a website dedicated to images of somali's firing weapons at these weird angles. There were TONS of the and I can't remember what it was called. Hilarious though. ***edit*** Here's some of them, Liberian though, not Somali. Still pretty funny. http://www.betterpartofvalor.com/boards/lofiversion/index.php?t1282.html
  20. Yup, i'm officially retiring
  21. Consistently between 20-26. Lowest has been 18 (302ms)
  22. A solid gold gun is only nice looking in a shadow box or as a pair hanging on a wall perhaps.
  23. When are we doing this again? Seems like it's been ages since we've met. @Dustbuster or @HighpowerI think organized the last 2? maybe I'm wrong? I did make it out to Everything Weapons awhile back but I've been so busy with work lately that i haven't been on TGO much. Wouldn't mind talking guns and politics with some fellow ugly bastards sometime soon. Anybody else?
  24. Sounds like you need to rough up the QA department.
  25. dDd you see the kids during the riot that walked up to the police lines, sat down and posed in various ways? Some had their hands up like they were blocking something, some had their hands behind their heads. Meanwhile a bunch of masked people are walking around taking artsy photos of them. Then they got up and walked away. The police didn't even bat an eye at them. I'm sure those photos will soon be part of some propaganda machine. I mean seriously... your party lost, it's happened to one group or another since 1789... get over it. Sadly I don't think you could talk these folks off the ledge. Maybe Trump will legalize pot. Then they can medicate themselves and stay on their couch.
