  1. with great power... you're a good father, supporting your sons business. it's only natural order.
  2. You're good man. Read up a bit more and sadly, I'm gonna have to pass. The wife needs ATs on her 4runner, but her wheels are 17s, which means with these I'm in for a set of tires AND wheels. great price though, wish you the best of luck.
  3. you poor, poor people and your too many guns..... life sure is tough
  4. Those are what, 33's I think? Also, I'm assuming there are 4 total?
  5. You probably don't remember me, we met at a Shoney's meetup years ago, but I think the last pistol i wanted (CZ P-01) you sold right as i first met you. Now a 365. hah
  6. Assuming he still has it.
  7. Appreciate you taking the time to write that up. I'll definitely have to look at the Wilson grip, i didn't think they had one to fit the xmacro. Also great idea with the smaller mags. I'm a big fan of full capacity. Right now I carry a P-07 and I can conceal it well, so i figure the full size mags should be ok, but good to know of a fallback plan.
  8. The seller probably rubbed some Hoppes 9 behind his ears. Very enticing scent for a gun buyer.
  9. This town aint big enough....
  10. TACOPS i think? https://www.sigsauer.com/p365-xmacro-tacops.html
  11. I've been wanting to toy around with a handgun with an optic that's easily concealable. Initially I was leaning towards the XL model but once I put my hands on the Macro, I really liked the size and mag capacity. I'm pretty "meh" about the slide compensator concept to be honest. I would almost rather just have the same size with a full length barrel. The end goal is to put a Holosun 507k on it. All the reviews I've read say it's a solid optic. Yes, I've looked at the hellcat as an alternative, It's fine I suppose but I'm not a big modern Springfield fan. I'm also not a Glock fan (grip angle woes). Anyone with experience? Any thoughts? Appreciate the input.
  12. Sounds like cache or user error. No offense of course, that's just how it is. We've all done it. Just make yourself a bookmark to https://www.budsgunshop.com/ specifically and avoid the hassle. Fun story, early in my IT career i was helping a customer remotely who got a malicious website every time he went to google. I spent hours helping him pour over his computer looking for browser hijacks, malware etc. After 2 FULL HOURS I was out of ideas, then i glanced at the bottom of the screen and saw the familiar "GOOOOOOOOOGLE", so I said "Sir, please spell google for me. Frustrated, he says "G-O-G-G-L-E". Um sir, that's goggle, like the ones you wear. It goes quiet for a second and he yells "F____K!", thanks me and hangs up.
  13. Man I have wanted one of these for ages. Of course this would come up when i need a new AC unit and windows on the front of the house. Have an extra couch? I could be convinced to move
  14. Still better than the smell of a bradford pear... smells like rotten... somethingoranother..
  15. Man, no kidding. Even in my smaller town, most of the cops have a 1,000 yard stare. Who can blame them honestly? Coffee with a Cop is nice and all, but they never really get to see people at their best because they're enforcing LAW (ever changing laws, to make it worse). So most of the interactions have to be with people who aren't abiding... so they see everyone at their worst. People don't like to admit fault either, so they go on the defensive regularly, which is how things start to escalate. You wind up with a cop who's battle hardened, seen everything under the sun and possibly had attempts made on their life, dealing with some soccer mom who is pissed off because she's not being treated "like a human". It's tough on both ends for sure. meanwhile, you guys are paid $10 and a pack of gum to deal with this crap..... But, how do you fix that? Not for me to decide for sure.
  16. Way late to the party on this one, but have you benched it or tried different ammo? If you're like me, you're running garbage through that old SKS, which isn't known for accuracy. I would put it on a bench rest and see if it's putting holes in paper where you expect. Diagnose from there.
  17. ProTip: Don't eat cheetos before your hunt.
  18. Man, I used to get some killer deals from LAX but at some point they joined forces with freedom munitions (I don't know the details there) and it seems to have gone downhill from that point. About once or twice a year I would order a case of Sellier and Bellot 9mm, and it was stupid cheap.
  19. Awesome! I have very little time in with wheel guns but that's a heck of a collection. I want one, I'm just not willing to pay for it. 3rd down in the center column wants me to shoot it.
  20. Oddly, any CZ. I know that's an odd submission because anyone who has used them knows better, but it's surprising to me just how unknown they are with your average joe. I was in the same boat as a young buck. The only CZ I ever knew about was the old vz 61. Even a fair amount of "gun guys" just talk about their M&P or Glock all day but haven't shot a CZ
  21. Try using a private window. By default, most addons, etc won't carry over to that mode. If that works, it's a cookie or something you have installed. I run several privacy extensions. Occasionally those will break some functionality
  22. This is the funniest thing I have read in ages! My favorite comment from the twitter link: "my brother in Christ, that's not an AR-15, that's a B-29 superfortress (common mistake, they're very similar)"
  23. We go up there maybe once a year and stay in a VRBO cabin. It's ok if you just park and walk around. Despite the crowds, it's a safe place. We let the teenagers run around while she and I people watch or listen to bluegrass or something. Outside of that, we just go into the park and cruise around. That's way more enjoyable depending on the season. We also have a running game to guess how many people we'll see wearing the confederate flag hoody. I don't know if they even sell it anymore, but it never fails that you'll see 2-3. Winner gets bragging rights.
  24. Personal opinion, I would wait. There's a fair amount of next gen hardware coming soon. I love my index but the layer of dust on it is pretty thick. They don't make a lot of games and it's years old now. I also fear that in the future it's all gonna be AR chat rooms and meta stuff. Not my thing.
  25. I'm torn on this topic. I've got a great gaming rig with an RTX3080. I've got the Valve Index and I've got Gamepass to play MSFT Flight Sim. But what I don't have is the flight stick and throttle.... and i'm not willing to spend that much on it. I've tried DCS with the Index and its controllers. it's really neat, but playing pretend with the stick and throttle just isn't immersive AT ALL. I also have this gene where I can't just buy the cheapest thing out there. I need at least mid grade, which is big bucks for a novelty.
