Hope those of you with little ones have a safe, fun time this evening. I'll be here, sugar high on my own supply, waiting for the munchkins.

I have to do funny. I landed my wife almost 25 years ago because I could make her laugh. It really makes up for that whole "lack of handsome" thing. Man did I fool her.... Jokes aside (pun intended), the world has enough problems. A bit of joy or a bad dad joke can really break the tension sometimes.

I'm not for taking away people's due process either. A spiteful ex or a disgruntled neighbor red flagging you is WAY different than a guy who hears voices and wants to murder. He LITERALLY stated it. Whoever let this guy just walk is probably going to get hit with the lawsuit truck HARD. Plus their employer, their employer. Heck, everyone.

I bet the lawsuits are coming. Heck, I wouldn't even be surprised (in this day and age) if someone from the shooters side didn't sue because 'he might not have done it if they protected him from himself".

@BigKand I ran into one of those guys running a single private table at a LGS a few years back. Said he shut the store down because he had employees stealing and selling things off the dock. Said that he was getting the blame as the FFL holder, so he was out and the few guns he had on the table were the last of his gear. He was switching to selling CBD instead. *Shrug*

I mean, I'm flattered they pinned me I suppose, but I didn't make the post for recognition. In fact, what I typed initially was a comment to another poster where I was going to pile on my opinion. Ultimately I sat back, thought about my words and realized that adding on wasn't going to accomplish a damn thing. So I went for the de-escalation route. As far as the thread being locked...not my circus, not my monkeys, ya know? I'm just a dude with a login for a public forum. Noone of consequence.
