  1. Depends on which version you're talkin about. All with vastly different outcomes. Big bear girls... bare girls... Bear Grylls... Cool looking firearm OP, GLWS
  2. Gunshop owner buddy told me a few days ago that as a dealer, he still hasn't gotten a straight and narrow answer on this from the ATF on this. The stay is active but they can appeal and potentially win. So right now if you ask the ATF if it's legal, you probably won't get a response.
  3. It's entirely burnout.
  4. Man I can remember watching this in the theater in like 6th grade. I watched it at least once a year ever after. These days, you couldn't pay me to watch that movie.
  5. Wait? she can do that? Honey! I know what I want for Christmas!
  6. I've watched more movies in the last couple weeks than I have in years. Another silly but fun recommendation is "Nobody" with Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul guy). That was fun. It was good to see Christopher Lloyd on screen and I almost didn't even recognize Michael Ironside... channeling his inner Wilford Brimley. I also watched Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. This movie was a mess of randomness, but overall, I kinda liked it. I wouldn't ever be in for another viewing, but the absurdness was comical. Fair warning that it's very "artsy". if you hated inception or tenant.. you will loathe this movie.
  7. You watch, it'll be a bunch of black rectangles and republicans.
  8. I thought the same thing about charging the rifle. Reading my mind as usual, youtube gave me a short right after the movie where a guy talked about training himself to always charge because sometimes a jam can seem like an empty mag. He also made a good point that during transition practice to his sidearm, he found that sometimes the rifle would bounce on the sling and hit his bolt release on his rig or hip, closing the bolt. Stuff you just don't think about i suppose. I need one of those infinite refill plate carriers. It's also important to swap shoulders every 5 seconds. *edit* One final note. I was pleased to see that they didn't have the 5 year old throw a knife into someone. I was fully expecting that eye roller.
  9. I watched Warhorse One on Prime this weekend. It started off looking really low budget, but it picked up steam and became a fun watch. It's basically John wick wanted to be a Seal. Lots of shooty stabby ridiculousness.
  10. Christ is the reason for the season. I'm just trying to focus on my relationship with him. I'm not particularly great at staying the course, but I would like to be.
  11. Adding on. I've nothing but Samsung TVs since maybe '07. In fact i still have my original 55" (back when they were a few grand and this one isn't even LED backlit, CCFL still holding on strong. No complaints about LG's though. We have family who swear by them. These days, they're all pretty solid
  12. QLED is a better picture, but you'll likely pay more for that (until something better comes out). The price tag also has a lot to do with the materials involved. For an $800 tv, you can expect smart features and a good picture. What you cannot expect is a lot of expandability. You probably won't get many updates to the smart features and the TV won't have more than a few HDMI ports and maybe a USB or two. If you put them side to side in the store, the QLED should look better. However, keep in mind that most stores are playing content that really takes advantage of the tvs capabilities. At home, you probably aren't watching vibrant demo videos filmed with an IMAX camera. Heck you probably aren't even watching videos in 4k to be honest. If you have FOMO (fear of missing out) or You're a feature snob, then it's QLED. Otherwise, pay what you're willing and realize that once you get it home...you wouldn't notice the difference anyway. Oh, and I much prefer using a Roku for smart features anyway. I buy mid grade $1000-$1200 TVs and then put money into the Roku and a decent soundbar. In fact, they make a Roku soundbar. I have two for my smaller TVs.
  13. This one is so stupid. I love it
  14. well, at least you'll never drown...
  15. Ap I must not have gone far enough in the cart. It was cheaper
  16. If you're going the blazer route, buy it from prepper. $10 shipping https://www.preppergunshop.com/cci-blazer-brass-9mm-124-fmj-50-1000
  17. Takes all kinds I suppose. It got us talking though, right? Hah.
  18. 8 years!! I was thinking, wow.... people are still super loyal to the NRA even now! Talk about a topic that aged like milk (for me at least). The convention was close last year, so I gave them the minimum to get in the door. My money went to FPC last go around.
  19. Use it or lose it PTO and a desire for some peace and quiet!
  20. If you figure that one out, you let me know...
  21. man, so many good CZ's lately. GLWS
  22. The Russians can make some pretty cool guns, but that obsession with the Lada bodystyle is just uncalled for. As long it's not a giant magnet, should be good. until they start doing wireless charging at a grand scale. Now i'm imagining a world where your car detects you have a firearm before you get into it. Don't put it past them.
  23. meh, I'll catch it on netflix a few weeks after it releases
  24. It probably got yanked towards it. Ever see those things when it goes wrong?
