Must watch movie/television recommendations & interesting shows

I saw Aliens: Romulus today. I didn't expect much, given everything beyond part 3 has been awful. Bottom line up front: I was an Alien/ Aliens super fan. I read the books And comics when I was young. Heck I still have some of the models and toys. Alien 3 (though good) was a departure from the source IMHO. All the AvP stuff and Prometheus movies deserve to be wiped from existence. I have to admit, I liked Romulus quite a bit. It felt like it was set in the universe. The sets looked awesome. Yeah it had all the aliens tropes, but it felt good. Riiiiight up until the last act. They blew it in my opinion. I won't say how or why to avoid spoilers, but if you read what I hate about the genre, you'll know when you get to the part. There wasn't any woke or political crap either. The protagonist is a female, as per usual. The aliens series is an allegory for motherhood Anyway. Alien Impregnation, the eggs, female leads. Even the computer is MU/TH/UR. The lead actress did a good job and so did the rest of the cast. It's worth it, even if the last of it sucked. I just wish we could get more colonial Marines. Why is that so hard? -
now the question is, how easily will you be able to order them? it's probably cz custom and cajun or nothing

https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-09-c-nocturne/ https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-09-f-nocturne/ I haven't carried it in a bit, but I've had the original P-07 Duty since it came out. I love that pistol, I've shot it thousands of times. I didn't bother to get the upgraded version and I skipped out on the P-09 because I just don't have a use case for the same pistol in a larger format. But I gotta say that I'm interested in this model. In a nutshell, CZ has blended the 07 and 09 into one. They've added new slide serrations, suppressor height sights, a flare on the mags, new grip texture. Best of all though, it'll let you run an optic! It comes in a C (compact) and F (full size) and still uses the classic DA/SA hammer config. I haven't done much research yet but Grab-a-gun had the compact model for $549 this morning.

Big trouble at the Piggly Wiggly, of all places.

Sucks you went through that. Who knows what was going on in their personal life that made them want to attack you over print on a t-shirt. My guess is weaponized MSM and social media. I seriously doubt they're doing humanitarian work in that theater. Idiots are everywhere unfortunately. You should wear the shirt if you want. Just maybe be prepared to have that convo again in the future. I tend to try and shift it to kindness. Maybe next time instead of responding in kind to the attack, just immediately start telling them about the good you've seen. Fight fire with water. -

Sly lost me when he came out publicly as an anti-gunner during an interview for his new movie "bullet to the head". -

It was very funny. I'm probably a lesser person for enjoying it...but I did. -

I've heard that Disney marvel has been purging the agenda folks. Maybe it'll happen to lucasfilm eventually. -

So I'm not a Star Wars fan (anymore), but I might be able to get behind this if it's done right. I was always a fan of The Goonies type shows, so maybe this one will be good? maybe? -
It's like a great old ones younger sister who's going through an identity crisis.

I have two Kore leather belts (black and brown). They are by far the most versatile belts I've owned. Looks good enough to tuck a shirt in and still rugged enough to have a holster strapped on it. I didn't think I would be a fan of the tractor but I really like how adjustable it is. Our stomachs aren't static sizes, so it's nice to be able to cinch up in the morning and let it out 1-2 clicks later after a meal.

We overdid it with tomatoes this year. Tried out a few different types, but ultimately we've decided that cherry or beefeater is what we like best. Next year will be fewer plants and to spread into different crops. Right now we have two raised beds but with a plan to build 3-4 more and surround it with gravel walkways.

the 98k must be because of that sweet Costco discount!
-
Costco had a nice looking GMC Sierra sitting in the exit recently. Sticker on it was 98k. Guess I'll never own a Sierra.

That temperature slider didn't make a lick of difference for about 15 minutes. About the time you got where you were going, it would just start pumping out hot or cold air.

I bought one of these a few years ago. No complaints. https://www.staples.com/tempur-pedic-ergonomic-fabric-swivel-computer-and-desk-chair-black-tp6400-blk/product_2724237 Frame of reference, I'm in IT leadership and have to sit in front of the screen for extended periods. Years later and the foam has held up. I'm 6'2", 230lbs.

Over the top Delta cracked me up. He even did the pillow silencer bit. Also forgot the part where Russell Crowe has morphed into John Goodman from Big Lebowski -

"Land of Bad" on Netflix wasn't particularly good, but it was fine enough if you're looking for an action flick. -
Let's guess. I say Blue Ridge Parkway

yeah i don't want to give her too much credit. However, it's good to hear her say the AR15 is "one of the most popular semi-automatic weapons in the United States". That's a great admission.

He's looking tough! Give him a high five for me. See now I wanted to shoot that lever action as well!!!

As a kid I had so many toy guns without the orange tip. Though I get why they started....

I didn't buy a P-09 because i have a P-07 Duty (gen 1). I love the p-07 so i can't see why i wouldn't like the P-09, but.... two of practically the same pistol
