I just can't fathom what could possibly drive someone to do this to a child. Poor little guy has got to be scared out of his wits.   Hopefully this guy will come to terms with what he's doing and let him go.   And if God forbid he doesn't....I hope the police dismantle him piece by piece.

Crazy that these air guns have changed so much. I haven't looked at them since i was a kid.   I have one of these http://www.crosman.com/airguns/pistols/1377C   Well... mine is from the 80's and isn't that fancy, this one seems to have a bolt. Mine just has a metal cover for the breach so you can load it then a piston you pull on the back. It's good enough to start teaching my 6 year old to shoot though.

oddly enough, i was browsing my former college audio/visual design instructors site and came across this.. seems fitting.

  Back in college I had an internship with the guy who does all of the graphics from the predators. Most of the stuff that came up on the jumbotron or whatever they call it. I even got some of my work played during the games... in turn i'd get to go to the games occasionally. HAD A BLAST. So much fun to watch it live. But on TV.... meh....

I'm not what you'd call a "sports guy". I like sports, i just can't sit down and WATCH sports.   If I had season passes and the ability to follow all the games, sure. But there's nothing appealing to me about yelling "throw the ball!" from the comfort of my couch.

Yup, last Thursday my walmart got in 3 boxes of the UMC 250rnds for $90 and a few boxes of federal for $20. It's all out there for cheap, you just have to be willing to wait on it. 

Hermitage empty. Mount juliet was stocked with .223 but by the time I got there (7:50) they sold out of 100rnd and 50rnd. Got three boxes of American eagle at least. :/
