  1. Congrats sir. Spoil 'em rotten then send 'em home!
  2. You can't aim when you're glock-eyed
  3. Own the game or subscribe to game pass (it's on there) You'll need an Xbox live subscription Internet Should be about it.
  4. Gen X here. Definitely not offended, maybe confused? Gen X was born from like 1965 - 1980. Then you had millennials followed by Gen Z.
  5. Oh man, if you want a real laugh https://11foot8.com/. I can watch these videos for hours. Probably a better experience to hit it on youtube, but i wanted to give the site credit. https://www.youtube.com/@11foot8plus8/videos *edit* Have to share one of my favorite crashes
  6. Those kids are probably 50+ now
  7. I've been looking between them and CCW Safe. Both have their pros and cons. USLawShield is definitely more affordable but if i recall correctly, didn't cover liability (or at least not included) and you don't get to select your lawyer. From reading online, the people who have used it said that they came in and did their job but it was so distant that weren't a person, more of an object. USCCA is out, I've heard horror stories.
  8. So this is a really interesting topic because our church is currently reviewing our "safety team" policy. We're sticking with that title because calling it a security team may have some legal ramifications and require licensing for the team members. Currently we are requiring that armed members of the team must have a TN issued enhanced carry permit and we're also advising the team members to look into pre-paid legal such as USLawShield. Our issue however is that regardless of which provider you choose, the paperwork basically allows the provider to get out of support very easily. For every positive, there's a big negative. Things like superb lawyers, but you don't get to choose or liability at an additional cost, but they can opt out of paying that. God willing, our safety team will only have to deal with cuts, bruises and someone falling etc. But... failing to plan is planning to fail.... so we're building out an EAP (emergency action plan). Even then, documenting what you will do could put you in a legal bind if someone fails to follow it. We're not a paid force, we're a bunch of folks who have a bit of sheepdog in us. This is also why we employee local LEO to be there on Sunday and Wednesday nights. We basically tell the officer that our job is to support them. We give them a radio and watch our zones/patrol as needed. But step 1 is to always loop them in. But yet again, there's the negative to that. if the officer needs support and we act, even on his command, he could probably help to clear us from felony wrong doing, but we're still gonna be liable from a civil sense.
  9. Bit late here @The mailman, but I'll vouch for @BrrrrettaGuy
  10. That doesn't look like a safe at all!!! *Liberal shrieks in the distance* Jokes aside, it looks real nice. I love repurposed crafting.
  11. That's fair. You responded to my post about not overpaying for the service, so i thought price was inferred. All good. No harm no foul. I think we're both right. OP get the training you need, but know what you're paying for.
  12. I've met plenty of cheap experts and expensive idiots. I fundamentally agree with what you mean, but would argue that paying more doesn't mean better. I got my HCP class for $60 when most places charged $80-$150. Terrific instructor. My ultimate point is that, regardless of what you pay, you get your rubber completion stamp at the end.
  13. The class has mandated material, so it really doesn't matter where you go. Find the cheapest. $250 or $60, either gets you the certificate. The guy who taught mine retired, so unfortunately I can't recommend where to go.
  14. I'm glad they underlined this. People may not have understood it otherwise.
  15. One of the few celebrities I would have loved to have a coffee with and just talk for a few hours. I don't know much about his personal life, his politics or what troubles he had. For that alone, I have the utmost respect. The world is truly darker without him. God speed sir and rest in peace.
  16. I've tried the Old Man 2-3 times. I just can't finish it and I'm not sure why. It started off strong and then got boring with the flashbacks. Shogun on Hulu was amazing. Jack Ryan was good for a season or two and then it jumped the shark. The last season i didn't like at all. It fell to the same issue as homeland. They killed off the bad guy and needed a new plot when they should have just ended it. If you like Clancy stuff, be sure to avoid Without Remorse and the upcoming Rainbow Six (Michael Pena as Ding Chavez? Come on). Without Remorse simply takes a dump on the IP in true Hollywood fashion. Terminal list was tough as well. I wanted to like it more, but I just don't take Pratt seriously as a hardcore operator. It's just the funny man snarling the whole show. I shoot first and don't ask questions later. I'm a loaner Dotty, a rebel. Bullet train. I thought I would hate this movie. Color me impressed because its great. My son and I have watched it a few times. We like to call idiots a diesel when we see them in public.
  17. Just to clarify for your sale, is this the TACOPS model? It doesn't appear to have the magwell, so wanted to ask.
  18. Overpriced Armory if you ask me. Eat up the little guy, mark up all the inventory. I never do more than window shop.
