  1. I hear they are going to have a test track also. Im a huge VW fan,and cannot wait to see this place finished. They are also strongly advocating that VW enthusiest apply for positions at the plant. Im likin the way there doing this.
  2. is browning code for rust? Cause it looked pitted and a non uniform color of brown.
  3. I valet at the Schermerhorn, tomorrow night. Although its kinda a rip off that you have to pay 20 dollars to do so.
  4. Keep in mind that im a younger guy before you old farts get in a tizzy.... Bruce Willis.... the new generations BADASS
  5. Hopefully me and my roomate can get up there before he leaves for basic.
  6. Im not even sure it would help that.Im sure it would stop some 9mm ball ammo or the most common pistol rounds, but im not going to try it:). Its just a tankers flack vest with extra kevlar panels. But im sure its no secret here that I do play airsoft(GASP!) and that vest was used to complete an impression. Although i would have looked way more baddass if i was wearing my ATS 7.62 rig. Im waiting for a place where i can actually worry about that, Thats not my land so i cant just set up obsticals where ever id like with out permission from the owner.(whos not really a gun person, i was just thankful for what i got). Are there any places in Middle Tennessee that does have somthing along those lines? Ive read about some of the courses offered by the vendors here but im lucky if i can scrape extra cash to buy ammo to shoot.
  7. HAHA it 4 panels of kevlar in the front and four panels of kevlar in the back. Not sure it would stop an ak round, BUT its helped keep the sling from rubbing on my nasty red sunburn. That location was in Ashland City Down in a valley it was quite a nice place to shoot. O Darn I thought a simple go would have been fine. Ill try to add more rolls, flips, and dives next time, Ill even up the ante ill add a woman in distress on my back.
  8. So my roomate and I went shooting this weekend. We went shooting this weekend and he accidently made a video instead of pictures, it turned out to be decent quality so I thought id post it. They way it was planned was there are 5 plates 3 outside the vehicle 2 inside the vehicle. I was unaware of the location until I turned around. First three had to be engaged with my primary(Romainian ak-47) the remainding two inside must be engaged with secondary(9x18 Russian Makarov) .The rifle was loaded with four rounds allowing for 2 misses before forcing a reload(extra mag was located in the built in mag pouch on my pants) Makarov was loaded with 5 rounds also allowing for 1 miss before forcing a reload, fobus single stack paddle style kydex mag holder. Its not great but it was our first time doing it. Critiques are welcome! I have a much higher quality video but dont know how to post it. If anyone could help with that the video is much nicer to watch as you can see the bullit holes.

  12. The topic has been discussed. But at that time the viewing was in Washington I believe. One of the members even drove to the "Training Camp" but did not report anything fishy or than the nice man telling him to turn around and his lost dog is not there.
  13. Thanks Guys! Key hole?! Is that have somthing to do with the bullet not being able to stay stable due to some sort of wobbling as the bullet passes through the barrel, thus allowint the bullet to tumble in mid air?
  14. In the next two weeks im going to be looking into buying a new rifle, and I am seriously considering purchasing a Ak-74. Unfortunatly I know Nothing about a fair price or a good manufacturer. Anyone want to help me out?

  18. I remember an episode on some sport show where he was laughing at those jokes. He even told his own Chuck Norris joke. Edit here it is..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8k3uGzgZIs
  19. I am not a permit holder nor have I ever been in a situation where I felt one was needed, however I have a family member who does have one and has used it. Some stupid kid pulled an empty gun and ended his life right there, changed the lives of people on both sides of the gun.
  20. It doesnt matter what you carry if you shoot em in the head. The only thing about carrying an AK in a SHTF situation, you can carry twice as much .223 ammo for the weight of what you could carry 7.62. If it were me id go ak74,reliability and lighter bullets. Im not to worried about ammo compatibility,if i find a load of ammo out somwhere in a shtf situation there is probably a dead guy nearby with the gun that fires it.
  21. I demand pictures of it on you! I always have a hard time find pictures of the holster actually on the person.
