Best places to purchase ammunition online.
MPGlock replied to GoPack's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
If you're just looking for plinking ammo, Freedom Munitions both new and reman is about all I use exclusively for range ammo. My glocks love the 9mm and my 1911s eat the 45 like candy. If you catch their free shipping deals, they're hard to beat. Outside of them, look for sales from Palmetto State Armory (especially around ANY holiday) and Target Sports USA if you're buying bulk (free shipping) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I'll 2nd the Remmy AAC-SD. Love mine and if you want to think aftermarket, there ain't more out there than there is for the 700s. I also agree though that the stock is crap on this model but I ditched mine for a Bell & Carlson Target Medalist and it became one helluva shooter! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Mike .357. To be honest what really got me thinking about all this was Willis68s post about the Protech TGO punisher. That thing is bada$$! Good to know from one lefty to another on that particular auto opener Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, been thinking about an EDC knife but will be the first to admit I don't know jack about what I'm looking at/for. Can someone point me to some good resources or possibly help me out on answering a few of the questions below: 1) I see a lot of knives listed as auto opening but from research I've done, aren't auto open and switchblade the same (again I'm ignorant on this subject) and if so I thought switchblades were illegal in TN 2) Couple of my buds carry assisted opening - what are pros and cons? 3) being a lefty, most knives are set up for right hand operation. Any recommendations on ambi? 4) brands/price range to look at for first EDC (use would be general utility, last line of SD). I don't mind spending $ for quality. Thanks for your help and sorry for the very general questions but again, don't know much about this subject. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, it's not exactly a big score but...

Just FYI for anyone in Mid TN, I was at Outpost Armory about a week and a half ago and they had 500 rd boxes (5 100rd trays) of CCI standard velocity at around $40. I will say it was on a Monday when I was there so sure if you went on a weekend they wouldn't have it, but they had a pretty good supply of that and the federal auto match 325 rd boxes (think that was $29.99) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Never had any problems with them. Buy almost all my 9mm and 45 from them. I did order some 9 Monday before last and just got the shipment on Tuesday but that is the longest I've ever waited Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome Wicked1911!! I'm sure you'll love this forum and the people on here are great. Like you, I came from an anti-state (pretty sure IL may have Mass beat, lol) and so grateful to be in TN. Been here now 15 yrs and can't imagine being anywhere else! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

KY State Police I'm pretty sure still carry the 35 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My understanding was the G42s had to be built in the US due to import restrictions on non-external safety 380s. Same reason the Glock 380 has been around for years but to LE only in the states. Can anyone confirm if the 43 will be US, Austria, or both? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Love mine and like you have no reason for it but........nope still can't think of a reason. but never giving it up!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Was thinking of ordering some as I use their 9mm and 45 (reman and new) and like it but had not tried their 308. Looking to see if anyone had good/bad/ugly experience with these.

That looks awesome!!!! -
Definitely good scope for the money.

You are correct sir. It is the Vortex Viper PST 4-16X50. It is the SFP version with illum reticle. Pretty sweet scope for the money. Glass is crystal clear!

Honestly, never even shot it with the factory stock. Had a buddy's that I had shot before and it was pretty bad (sometimes 1 inch groups, sometimes 3). With 168gr Federal GMM it is doing consist 1/2 to 3/4 inch in the new stock. Biggest change was the recoil. Not that a 308 is that bad to begin with, but with the B&C, heck I think my AR kicks harder.
