  1. Yeah it'll take some getting used to getting that dot to stop moving so much. I am thinking about picking up a delta point pro and moving the rmr to a rifle or something.
  2. What size dot?
  3. Here's my setup for Carry Optics USPSA.
  4. http://www.unitytactical.com/product-category/atom/ I went with this after market slide rather than a specific mill because as the red dot market continues to grow, there will be different red dots and I don't want to be married to one specific one. It doesn't sit as low as a milled one, but it does pretty well. I have used a Burris Fast fire 3 MOA and now use a Trijicon RMR 6.5 MOA. The bigger dot is faster and easier to track for me. I'm faster with irons at the moment, but I could use more trigger time on it.
  5. I'm also loading at 1.135. I could load a little longer but my case gage doesn't agree and it just seems to fit better in the chamber of my gun as well.
  6. He's a good friend of mine. He does great work. Personally I have had two pistol slides and a receiver set cerakoted by him.
  7. If #8 is not taken I will take it with the wicked edge!
  8. Thanks for the responses so far. I maybe should have prefaced by saying these are for 9mm competition loads. I usually pickup Winchester primers at gun shows and they haven't been too difficult to find. CCI's are fine too. But I've been using titegroup and was recently turned on to N320 by a friend. I'm open to other powders some of you all are using for IDPA/USPSA.
  9. Hey guys. Traveling to Nashville this week. Wondering where a good place to go for reloading components. Specifically VV N320 and Winchester primers. Thanks in advanced.
  10. GLOCK MODS FOR THE WIN
  11. Just did my 43 this evening; first gun. Practiced on Pmags and such in the past. Full stipple, flats, and undercut. Just had to man up and go for it. Wasn't that bad. Try it out!
  12. I'll be there!
  13. Goofy 6 point and a doe both within an hour of each other. Been deer hunting for about two years and these are my first kills. What a thrill. Can't wait to eat them!
  14. I sent mine to you on Thursday? From Jliew08@gmail.com
  15. Toby you killed it man! Look good, feel good, play good. It was good hanging out with you again.
  16. https://www.facebook.com/ClevelandTnIdpa Range is Cleveland hunting rifle and pistol club. Matches usually start at 10am. New shooters meeting at 9:30.
  17. Cleveland isn't too far from chatt. A lot of guys that shoot there are from chatt. They shoot 3 gun on 2nd Saturday's of the month and IDPA 3rd Saturday's of the month. There are always new shooter there for IDPA and is a welcoming environment. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I'm in Dayton just up the road.
  18. I've purchased from them at gun shows before in Chattanooga and Knoxville. Odd you go to a gun show or anything recently?
  19. Nice shooting with you all and putting some faces to these names. - Joey
  20. Cleveland meets on the 3rd Saturday's of each month at 10am. Mike and Tyler put on a great match. Lots of new shooters each month.
  21. I believe I had #13 for the rockeye run. So I will take #13 if it is available. If not, #8, #9, or #26. Two tone.
  22. I'll play. Been shooting competitively for about a year now. One of my favorite parts of matches is watching other shooters and learning from them, great idea for a thread. Edit: never mind. Didn't work right, haha.
  23. Check out primary arms advanced micro dot. Think it runs about $170. I prefer eotechs because of the reticle. Aimpoints single dots are blurred due to my eyes. Unfortunate because I really like the battery life of the aimpoints
  24. Cool, may have to do that.  Though I went to my first USPSA match there this past weekend.  I'm pretty hooked.  Thanks!
