  3. Barrel is 27 1/4" then add the brake sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
  4. I've been in the market for a long range tactical rifle and finally found this Remington 40x single shot KS chambered in a 300 wm. Lucky it already has the Jewell trigger installed and the brake. I ordered the March 10-60 tactical scope for it today from Kelblys so now the wait is on. I just might have swap a scope around until it arrives. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Best way ruin a barrel and chambering is with a bore snake you can not remove all the particles in the rope on one and over time this will scratch the riflings and chamber in your barrel. Get a good bore guide and a one piece cleaning rod. Well unless you just don't care about the barrel then have at it. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro

  7. What would be nice is if Walmart refused to sell to those same old geezers every time they got the shipment in.
  8. Thanks for input guys I'm still searching brands and want to make this a one time lifetime investment not just a bling thing but something useful and practical if I ever need to have this for the future.
  9.     That's the one I was looking at as well....
  10. Hmmm probably not
  11. I'm seeing more and more powder on the shelves. Just have look online as well. I'm sure David here has most of in stock.
  12. What would be a good tactical vest? One that fits well with storage for ar mags and 45 auto mags and say some survival gear?
  13. My supplier is shipping me 10# today of CFE 223 got 40# of Varget last week so it's starting to show up.
  14. Working up some loads one for the 308 and the other for a 30BR so I'm in need of these two powders.
  15. Got back out today testing fire formed cases and working with different neck bushings. Below is a series using 3 different neck bushings with same charge of powder. The .334 bushing will be my choice the .333 showed too much horizontal stringing and there's no way to eliminate this and it really shows further out. The .334 has a nice triangular group and this is what you look for. Below is the neck bushing tests today. Here's my next group its five shots using the .334 bushing and 42.3 grns of IMR 4064 F210m primers and lapua case with the sierra 175 MK I will do a bit more fine tuning with seating depth of the bullet now and I should be done with this rifle. Thanks for viewing. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
  16. If you want to duplicate the FGMM ammo you will need to use 41.7 grns of IMR 4064 in the Federal cases and fed 210m primers and the Sierra 175 grn MK bullets. Seating OAL should also be same and same neck tension. I'm unsure how one would know how much tension they have but you'll need a good bushing neck die and various bushings to get there. The load given is exactly what Federal does use.
  17. I will check and report back, I know they are magazine length is about all I remember I set my sweater die to seat them same OAL as FGMM ammo, as I'm trying best to duplicate the load and accuracy since my rifle stacks them into one hole.
  18. Today I began working up some loads trying to duplicate the FGMM ammo this rifle likes so well. I shot all groups at 100 yards and off the bipod. I'm a benchrest shooter so getting use to using a bipod is a bit tricky on holding and keeping it from bouncing. Anyhow the loads and groups posted are from virgin lapua brass and using the sierra 175 MK This next group and my final group of the morning is six shots I pulled my fifth shot to the left so I loaded up another rnd to verify it and put that sixth shot in the main group. Either way this rifle is a solid sub 1/2" shooter and I will now go back and fine tune my load for the fired brass. Comments and input welcomed. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
  19. I tried 3 times place the order and every time it failed to go thru so I just simply gave up. I hope you guys enjoy yours when they arrive.
  20. A few weeks ago I did some horse trading and picked up an AI in a 308 with a S&B scope. Well I didn't care much for the low power scope so I decided to get one of the new NF ATACR scopes and swap out. Much better for me that's its a 5-25 over the 3-12 the S&B is. Here are a few pics. 23. Nice setup sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
  24. As another stated find another home. Why even consider a home with amenities that you have no desire for? There are plenty homes on the market. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
