  1. Somethings up with these guys Now 555 rounds for $49.99
  2. For me I think next month will start fishing and put target shooting away until November maybe by then things will start getting back to normal. If not fly tying through the winter.
  3. I think they do drugs ;)
  4. That price is for 50 rounds. Before I pay these prices I'll put my 22's in the safe or just hang them on the wall for memories !
  5. It looks absolutely great!
  6. I could use a brick. Do you have any more for sale? If so PM me.

    Ruger 1911?

Blue Line gun store in Gallatin has a stainless steel Ruger 1911 for sale or at least they did as of Saturday when I was there. You may want to give them a call.
  9. Double post
  10. I'll tell you what my wife says Big toys for big boys. I have a sig 1911 and will have a Taurus Monday. Then in the fall a ruger, Springfield, etc I carry a sig pro 2022 in 9mm and a sig p226 mk25. The 1911 is my range guns When I shoot a 100 or so rounds with the 1911 the 9mm's are like shooting 22's. Just my 2 cents
  11. Yes ben hur and the 10 commandments As for the joke ;) lmaf
  12. I was doing my daily search on Guns America today and noticed that some of the vendors have prices on guns that are closer to what I was seeing last November. Could this be the start of "back to normal" ?
  13. Without ammo you would have a $500.00 Glock hammer ;)
  14. went to the range today with wife and the two 1911 22's. Had 5 ftf out of 200 rounds of the garbage winchester wildcat ammo. That was a lot better then I expected Shot 2 inch groups at 7 yards without my glasses. Nice little plinkers
  15. Congratulations!
  16. For 22lr I was paying 8 dollars a 100 rounds of CCI mini mags. For 9mm fmj $140.00 for 10 boxes of 50 rounds or 14 dollars for 50 rounds For 45 fmj 18 dollars 50 rounds For 380 fmj 16 dollars for 50 rounds
  17. sig 1911 22
  18. At first she didn't trust the safety so she carried empty chamber with it cocked and locked. After a few weeks of her seeing the safety was working she now carries loaded chamber, cocked and locked. She has it down that all she needs to do is disengage the safety with her thumb and pull the trigger if need be. She would and still does practice at the range disengaging the safety on her practice gun which is another p238 before starting our shooting exercise.   Also she is a better shot then me :)
  19. My wife had both of them and she is 5'2" tall. She likes the 238 (380) with the extended mag and hated the 938 (9MM) even with the extended mag so we bought another 238 and sold the 938 here on TGO. She uses one of the 238's for range shooting and the other for carry. She carries the additional extended mag and keeps the other in the gun.   She said the 238 is easier to shoot and conceal.  We shoot every Saturday Hope this helps
  20. I'll take a Wilson 1911 for the ammo lol and 16 white castle burgers. I have been constipated these days and need a good clean out
  21. Got two bricks of 22lr today so him and wife can play with new sig 1911 22 this weekend. I know junk ammo but better than nothing Also a lot cheaper than shooting 9mm, 45, and 380's At least I will be able to afford taking wife to a better place for dinner than white castle ;)
  22. I think we're brothers from different parents
  23. That's why steel guitar players and guns go together. Picks in one hand and a ROD in the other.   If you don't get it talk to my uncle Vito :ugh:
  24. Sig P250 has different grip sizes you can change (large, med, small). Also it is a DA not DA/SA    I would go with a compact vs. a sub-compact. You can conceal a compact and it can be a more stable shooter  at least for me. What I would recommend is going to the range and trying out different guns and seeing which one you shoot better and feels good in your hands.
