My New SR1911

I was going to sell mine but after having a little trigger work done on it not only am I keeping the full size I will be getting a commander and if they make a compact version I will get one. All will get trigger work done as I get them.
3. Concealed, Don't want to be the first target for the bad guys.
4. Got a email last night. Ammo should be here tomorrow Friday :)
5. Placed my order on Saturday still no word :(
6. I really like the way it looks. I have a C3 two tone and the slide stop doesn't match either. Must be a manufacturing thing
7. I brought it to the range today and shot 25 rounds through it to see how it felt. It shot and felt IMO 100 times better. Then I showed it to the salesman in the store I bought it from. He stated he didn't sell me that and asked where I got it from. I told him he did sell it to me and I just made some changes, which he liked and said I have a one of a kind ;)
8. Larry, do it. This way if I need 22lr ammo and the stores are out of stock I will know where to buy some ;)
9. I wanted to see how long it would last. I went to the site 10 minutes ago to see if the ammo was still available and it was! I ordered 2 cans (1000 rounds) and after my order, it was still in stock. Maybe things are starting to slow down ;)
10. No, I am selling or trading a Ruger 1911. In the first picture there are two 9mm that I did sell.
11. I made a few updates to my Sig Added stainless steel, barrel bushing, plug, slide stop, thumb safety, grip safety, and main spring housing. I also changed the grips to slim wood. The center gun in the photo below is the original gun
12. This person should have received a genius rating. Excellent
13. Sam has done a few changes to a few of my guns and everything he does is notch
14. Enjoy the sig as I know you will
15. I own both the sig 1911 full size and compact and I own the ruger 1911 full size. Both are nice guns but I would trade the ruger before I would trade the sigs The sigs trigger is very good and to me the ruger needs a little trigger work. I am a big fan of two tone guns. I like the sig you are looking at.
16. IMHO If you are buying the gun as a show piece go for it. Make it as fancy as you want with all the bells and whistles. Now if you are looking for a carry or target gun buy the show gun and then spend another 1k on a good work gun It is your money, spend it as you like. Life is to short. Also please remember to leave the Wilson to me in your will ;).
17. All my guns are queens. I take care of them because if I ever need them they will take care of me
18. I hate when that happens ;)
19. I see what you're saying, no disrespect, you know what I mean, so it is what it is. Need I say more. To tell you the truth, it's all good. ;)
20. My next 1911 will be a Springfield. My full size ruger 1911 doesn't rattle just needs a trigger job as I stated before. However it was made a couple of months ago. I have owned it for a couple of weeks. Maybe ruger is getting better with fitting ;)
21. Overall a nice gun for the money. The only complaint I have with mine is the trigger could be a little better. It has a longer reset and is not as crisp as my Sig's. For a few dollars that can be easily fixed
22. Very nice
