  1. I like both the SIG p220 and the S&W. I have owned both. If I had to pick one it would be the SIG. The SRT is an excellent trigger IMO.
  2. I will pray for his soul and for his family.
  3. From someone born and raised in NJ. I can't think of any reason anyone would want to live in that state. I haven't lived there in over 28 years and don't miss it.
  4. I live in Gallatin, have for three years. I shoot (in door range)at either Blue Line or Sumner gun shop. Blue line doesn't allow rifle except 22lr. Sumner gun shop does. Both are friendly places with nice staff and their membership rates are reasonable.I think Blue Line has more perks for the membership dollar. For instance free ffl transfer and other in-house discounts.

    SR1911

I have one and shot it today. The more you shoot it the better it gets. Hope you enjoy shooting yours as much as I enjoy shooting mine. Hipower it is a Ruger not a Remington ;)
  6. No offence, but I don't like Glocks. I owned a few back in the early 2000's and never could get into them. I didn't like the feel in my hand.  I am keeping the springfield. I haven't shot either of them. I have been shooting my Ruger full size sr1911 when I can get 45's, shooting my 1911 in 9mm and my 1911 22lr.   I am going to keep both. .
  7. Thanks all,   I think if I sell it will be the STI Spartan. The Springfield reminds me of the old days and most of you convinced me to keep it.
  8. Both are nib never fired. That is the reason for the question. looking for opinions from people that have or had both. I have a ruger that I shoot and carry. Just want some input
  9. If you had to choose between either a Springfield range officer and an STI spartan both are full size and 45, which would you keep and which would you sell?
  10. Sometime between Friday night and this Sunday morning Calvary cemetery in Nashville had a break in. The garage door on the maintenance shop was knocked down and a rolling tool box full of tools, a backpack blower and trimmer were stolen. They also stole about 150 gallons of unleaded gas. The garage door is damaged beyond repair. It is a sad state that a nonprofit organization must deal with this at this time. I would not want to be these crooks that will have to stand in front of Jesus the Christ and explain to him why they have done such a horrendous crime.
  11. Not guilty. I am impressed with the jury. I lived in FL for 12 years and was thinking there were more liberals there then in any other part of the country I guess I was wrong ;)

    Sig Barracuda

not my something I would want
  13. Thanks all for the information. What I have noticed today is the fluctuations in pricing both up and down, almost reminds me of gasoline. One price in the morning and a different price in the afternoon. When the price comes down again I will give them a try. Last question I have; is there any difference in performance in there new ammo vs their remanufactured ammo?
  14. Hi all I am thinking about buying some 9mm ammo from freedom. Has anyone used their ammo and how did you like it?
  15. I can't believe I am saying this but have you checked out a glock in 45acp? If not you may want to give them a look
  16. The SIG 1911 22 with the enhancement kit from CCW is a nice shooter. I have one and the wife has one. Are they 100% reliable ? No. Are they fun to shoot? Yes. We have over 1500 rounds through them and I don't see any wear other then the finish. Will we get others in the future? Yes. Just keep in mind that the Sig and the GSG are made by the same company. Sig just puts their name on it. We have shot every type of ammo some are better than others. I have not shot any mini mags because of the crazy prices. Also the barrels are threaded on both the SIG and gsg.
  17. Look at the Ruger's or if you like the 1911 platform a GSG or SIG in 22. I would stay away from the Sig mosquito.
  18. Agree, we celebrate the 4th of July, when the real name is Independence Day! The day we declared our independence from England.
  19. So So you can shoot yourself in the foot when you draw it from the holster ;)
  20. you can't fix stupid :surrender:   :stunned:
  21. Agreed one step leads to the next. Let GOD set the time and place of my death, not for me to make the chose, and before some of you ask which GOD there is only one. ;)
  22. The reason I asked was, they have items for sale on gun broker and were local.
