    Glock 42

I agree with hipower, the trigger isn't that bad. It's not a 1911 trigger, but it is a lot better than say a Sig 250 or Sig 290 or the S&W 380. I just don't understand why Glock makes a single stack 45, but not a single stack 9mm. Just doesn't make sense to me, but I'm Polish not Austrian. ;)
  2. I don't think it has to do with hate (very strong word) or anything like that. I have 22lr that I have purchased online, why I'm not standing on line or making special trips to wally world for plinking ammo. The main reason I commented is if someone is just buying to have it takes anyway from people that want to do some plinking or want to take their kids out and do some shooting. When I see LGS selling ammo for exorbitant prices something is wrong. I don't believe they are paying extra high prices for it from thier wholesales or I wouldn't be able to go online and pay less than half of what they are selling it for. That was my point, are some of the LGS sending people to WW to buy 22 ammo and then marking it up or are they just trying to make a windfall profit. I don't know either way and just my .2 cents. Then I go to another store and they are selling the same ammo at half of what the other store is selling it for. Still a little high but not unrealistic.
  3. So, you think the average person is waiting in line at wally world when a shipment arrives to buy a couple of boxes of 22lr? I don't think that is the case because most people work for a living and shooting this stuff is for recreation.
  4. Guys help me out here. I went on armslist and only saw one person selling overpriced 22lr ammo. Then I went on gunbroker and none from TN. So, where is all the local WM ammo selling? I have an idea but don't want to say at this point.
  5. I'm wanting the government version, but waiting for the tcm 22 ammo to become more available. Did both guns come with the 9mm barrel?
  6. Very nice. Have you had any range time with them? I am very impressed with the quality of the RIA guns and the prices are very good.
  7. Hope your puppy comes through OK. In my prayers.
  8. Thank you David and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
  9. I think it was a drone that was tracking him. ;)
  10. Well, I was just in a LGS in my town that is selling 50 round zip lock bags of bucket-O-bullets for $7.98. So, what is the difference between the two? If that bucket had 2800 rounds that equates to $446.88 a bucket and I know damn well they are not paying even half of that for them.
  11. Any update?
  12. Here is a great lyric from a song and I quote "If you don't love it leave it,let this song that I'm singin be a warnin. When you're putten down my country horse you're walkin on the fightin side of me". That is exactly what Charlie Daniels was telling that Brit.
  13. Comcast here also
  14. Very nice, Merry Christmas

    Remington R1 1911

I have a Remington made a few upgrades. It shoots great and one of my favorite 1911's. Well it is my favorite when it is its turn in rotation :)
  18. I am trying to lock a thread in the classifieds becuase the item is sold and I can not find a way to do it.   I was able to do it before I became a life member, please help
  19. I am also curious as to why you are replacing parts. I have two RIA 1911 GI's in 9mm and have had zero issues. The only parts I will replace is the recoil springs when needed.
  20. Done and please keep us posted on his condition.
  21. How about a funeral home can't kill the dead twice, unless they are zombies.
  22. The penalty for what you have done is to become a benefactor or a lifetime benefactor. ;)
  23. Watching it on CNN right now, this sucks.
