  1. I agree I don't find these video's funny AT ALL!
  2. Now we need our Governor and elected officials to follow suit.
  3. All the time for me or with in reach when home.
  4. I once put a case of canned beer in the garage in the summer and forgot about it. A few days later I started hearing load bangs in the garage, so of course I locked and loaded to see what was going on. The cans exploded. Wife still reminds me about this when I hear noises, she says and I quote "sure you didn't leave the beer in the garage again". Keep in mind I haven't had a drink in 30 years!
  5. And the ghosts are friendly and don't eat much...just kidding Mike.

    Bent Glock

First picture Glock ran out of ammo and was pouting. Happens all the time. Just kidding, cool photo shots. :)
  7. Lowpower is correct, unless your gun has a transfer bar. If it does you can load all 6 chambers. What the transfer bar does is prevent/block the hammer from hitting the firing pin if you drop the gun for example. When you pull the trigger the transfer bar is released allowing the hammer to hit the firing pin.
  8. Then I would say the trigger and sear weren't screwed up which is a good thing. IMO the person you bought the gun from changed the springs to lighten the trigger pull. If you order the new springs and you are not comfortable changing them, bring your gun to a gunsmith and have them change them for you. It should only cost you a few bucks to have it done and have him/her check the entire gun out. I would also call uberti cs to get the factory spring weights if you can't find that information.
  9. I have two blackhawks. I was at the range yesterday with my 6.5 " 357 /9mm convertible blued one. I was shooting 38's this time. The next time I shoot it I will change the cylinder and shoot 9mm. That would be the end of May sometime based on my current rotation.
  10. Check out Georgia arms. They have some fairly good prices on 38 special and 357 ammo. I am shooting there 38 spl in 125 & 158 gr lead round nose and have had zero problems.
  11. I asked that same question, why make it heavier? 2 lbs pull would make for a nice range gun, maybe you should not make changes, just shoot it a few times and see if you get use to it. Remember you don't have to worry about double taps since it is single action or over pulling the trigger (pulling off target) as some people do with heavier triggers pulls.
  12. I think they are called sear/bolt springs for your revolver. Also, I was at Nashville armory a few weeks ago and they had a new one that I tried. The trigger pull was a lot more then 2 pounds, closer to 5 or 6 pounds as a guess since I didn't have a trigger pull gauge with me. I would think something was changed to bring it down that much. I would also get a mainspring just in case it was also changed.
  13. The mainspring is the spring that is used to force the hammer down onto the firing pin. The heavier it is the harder the hammer will hit the firing pin. Keep in mind we are talking about a single action revolver so you are cocking the hammer. The mainspring is really not your problem unless you are getting light hits or putting holes in the primer cap. The rebound spring(sear/bolt spring)can either increase the pull weight of the trigger or decrease it. These springs can be ordered from midway, Brownell's to name a few. Wolf makes excellent springs.
  14. If nothing was changed or modified like the sear for example, you may just need to put a heavier rebound spring in.
  15. I have a few and love them. They make me look like I know how to shoot. To me running 38's through them is like shooting a 22 mag. 357 mag is like a 45acp. Get a few speed loaders and shoot the hell out of it. If you live to be a 150 you may wear it out. Enjoy ;)
  16. Woodstock 3, here we go. Looks like too many mushrooms (if you know what I mean) in the 60's if you ask me.
  17. I know what you are talking about SKS's if I remember correctly don't have firing pin springs and do put marks on primer caps can they slam fire "yes". I have personally had it happen to me with a Mossberg pump action I think it was a 500 model but don't quote me it was back in the early 80's on a pheasant hunt, luckily no one was hurt. I found out that it was because it doesn't have a firing pin return spring. Don't no if they changed the design because I never owned another.
  18. If it truly is the firing pin hitting the primer of the shell that is not normal in any firearm, it could cause an accidental discharge. I would call the manufacturer and not use the gun until this is corrected.
  19. Now his head will not fit through the door at the store and we will have to call him Sir Douchette or your Grace. Just kidding Mike ;) . I remember telling Eddy one day, "when he dies 1000 people will say WHO" He didn't talk to me for a week. I still like the joke about the Bass player funeral. I think I will have two if my wife and daughter comes. Daughter says she will come if food is served :) It is amazing how many people you meet playing music.
  20. I was in a class with a kleo and he had a SIG p220 which was his duty gun. He stated that all kpd had sig's
  21. I think it's a great price. I am buying 10. It would be a cold day in hell before I pay that for any 22lr, I would shoot spit balls first;)..... and as Doug would say ....jmho
  22. Excellent
  23. The Ruger gp100 isn't shooting straight, I would give it away, to me. ;) Just kidding. Enjoy your new wheel gun.
  24. I too went to Catholic school. My hands were hit so many times that when ever the nun would come by my desk I would just put my hands out knowing I must have done something wrong .....jmho
  25. I think this bill needs to be approved. I have read some of the posts about training, etc as a concern. IMO training comes with just being safe, some basic hundgun training and practice, it has nothing to do with gorilla warfaire or military or police type training. It is the first step to carrying a handgun without a carry permit, either concealed or open. Very few people will ever get into a shoot out. Being able to exercise your constitutional right is what is important not being a bullseye shooter, tactical shooter, and on and on.
