  1. There are liberals on FB?!?! Maybe I need to expand my friends list some ... I usually hide from there dumb comments as soon as I see them ...  :stalk:
  2. haha ... I love this thread. On another note, was examining the trading post policies and don't see why a girlfriend couldn't be sold ... unless the whole "don't sale something you don't possess" or "must comply with Federal, State, and Local laws" clauses come into play, but those seem like technicalities to me.
  3. My bro is an active member on here and gets denied a lot. Silly thing is he's < 25 years old and never been in trouble with the law. Pretty sure it's a case of mistaken identity on the part of the TICS/NICS system (reporting his SS# doesn't improve the situation). The state gave him some papers he can carry around regarding the issues, seems to help with the purchasing ... sometimes.  I'll forward him to this post and he can contact you if he so desires.
  4. This makes my wife and I so angry.  As she puts it: "the answer to violence is to p*$$ on myself?!?, h#ll no, I'll shoot the a**hole."
  5. O.M.G. Link below for University of Colorado's advice on what to do if getting raped.  Apparently this came behind a gun-free zone push. My favorites are below:   1. Be realistic about your ability to protect yourself. 2. Your instinct may be to scream, go ahead!  It may startle your attacker and give you an opportunity to run away. 3. Kick off your shoes if you have time and can’t run in them. 4. Don’t take time to look back; just get away. 5. If your life is in danger, passive resistance may be your best defense. 6. Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating. 7. Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone. 8. Yelling, hitting or biting may give you a chance to escape, do it! 9. Understand that some actions on your part might lead to more harm. 10. Remember, every emergency situation is different.  Only you can decide which action is most appropriate.   http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/340960/university-colorados-advice-how-avoid-being-raped-charles-c-w-cooke :stunned: :wall:    :dropjaw:
  6. regardless of the math, he needs to back off my AR15 and my 2nd amendment rights i'm surprised he didn't say to buy one of those oh so dangerous baseball bats that kill so many people per year   :bat:
  7. could this be Obama's strategy? get lots of new gun owners ... who go to the range and shoot those with experience?!?! and who will submit to the protective gun registration and confiscation because of all the evil accidents they themselves created with poor shooting skills?!?! :squint:
  8. Ohio Obama supporter and poll worker votes up to 6 times in 2012   http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/02/19/ohio-poll-worker-obama-supporter-investigated-for-potentially-voting-six-times/
  9. idiot for sure ... but, whether or not he's ignoring facts is hard to say. he may be reading/teaching from the new 'history' books the libs have helped re-write and doesn't know the truth. he needs a good eye-opening for sure :stunned:
  10. i noticed this too at an indoor range the other day ... i definitely make sure to check everyone out for a few minutes before i step up to the shooting line and blind myself to those around me
  11. and oddly enough they still show movie previews with gun everything ... hypocrites ... or wait, is that free speech :wall:
  12. I never have, and now, never will own anything Armalite.
  13. Hmm ... I don't know that I agree with guy's decision to chase after the robber (I personally wouldn't do this, or suggest that others do), but I do think the decision in this case is clear that it was a clean shoot.  I look at this as 2 separate events.  The robbery and the shooting.  If the guy had gotten robbed, walked down a different alley and another criminal started shooting at him, we'd all just consider it a coincedence (and bad luck).  The news report doesn't say he chased the robber down and was aggressive, or offensive; rather that the robber started shooting at him, so in my mind, it's a good shoot, and the robber committed 2 crimes.
  14. This post / story isn't about technology (although I do agree with your opinions on the matter) ... it's about some b***h at the grocery store who deserved everything you gave to her and more.  I applaud your response and make note that you have balls bigger than any melon in that produce section ...
  15. Ouch. Tough situation. Gonna say I agree with you ... but wonder how tough my resolve would be if mags ever got back down to pre-crazy prices. Lets be real though ... the CO House threw these guys a bone ... FOR NOW. I seriously hope Magpul sees thru the bs and realizes this is just a temporary pause on the anti's agenda towards their business to save face in front of the 600 or so employees. I hope they stand firm and I will buy stuff from them now AND after they relocate.
  16. This might be a good place to start looking for common ground ... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vodka
  17. Welcome from a fellow mid 20s Hermitage member!
  18. Thankfully I've never spent any significant money with them ... and never will in the future.
  19. Gotta say I agree with y'all even though right now I'm living in Atlanta. Work at Grady Hospital and the trash I deal with nightly just getting to/from work is awful. The politics down here are so incredibly corrupt. Y'all keep the water, I'll be back soon and we can have a toast of sparkling clear TN water. And might I say that moving from TN no income tax, to GA income tax sucks.
  20. This may be what lead to children 2-14
  21. I've recently run into several people that were unaware of the ammo shortage. Totally caught them by surprise ... As far as the girl goes, I hear this lady is in the market for some ammo ... http://s1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag51/ldugsjr1986/?action=view¤t=15EDB120-0A1C-4CA9-8EF1-2AB4B9AF217E-3596-000001B96F245C42_zps1b82b3cf.jpg&evt=user_media_share
