Thanks for clearing up any misconceptions about rural America and those of us that like guns JC. http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/0433b30576/cold-dead-hand-with-jim-carrey I'll choose not to respond, as Im sure my response would result in warning pants and being banned ...

road rage; guy carrying instigates fight then draws on them
npgunner replied to Sam1's topic in General Chat
A couple of idiots ... they deserve whatever is thrown at them ... -
I don't see the problem? Tell your buddy I'll give him $50 for it so he doesn't have to worry about sending it back or anything ... ;)

I doubt there is much that this guy does by "accident." I'm sure everything that goes on in that office is so well thought out and planned. The guy can't even eat food without it being pre-tested. This was no mistake. They're only saying that because of negative backlash. -
dogleg you're not the only outsider here. I'm from Nashville (still own a house there), but currently live and work in Atlanta, GA. These guys are great on here. Welcome to the forum!

Obama signs 23 executive orders
npgunner replied to jphillips63's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Ok. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need to pop an extra blood pressure pill over something new ... I'll just revert back to the standard "Obama is President" dose I've been on since November -

Excuse me if wrong ... but aren't these the same ones from earlier in the year. The article you link to is dated January 16, 2013? Is this something new and I've mis-read? -
Need some help with glock 19 concealed carry methods
npgunner replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
to me the belt is the part of the equation that can't be over emphasized. i have one the old leather guy at guns-n-leather made and it works good for my needs. family members use belts from manufacturers that they don't have a problem with. after that, a good holster that's easy to draw from. sounds like you've already made an A+ choice on firearm for carry, just spend some time setting up the rest of the rig. also, you'll get more comfortable with any rig the more that you use it. -
Question is ... can a minority lesbian drunkard use a conflicted duck's cork screw penis to open her bottle of wine?!?

Martin Luther King, Jr. called the office this morning; said he was really proud of how all his work turned out. Couldn't have thought of a better way for his memory to be honored than for black-Americans to act this way ...

Or in the case of suppressed guns (in the libtard mind version of a suppressor) <silence><silence><silence> Is more dangerous than BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG -

I agree with Dolomite. We should be able to own them all with no regulation as long as we are responsible citizens. You act a fool and then you can be regulated. I'm just trying to make the point that no matter what we are "allowed", when you're talking weapons, evil can (and I might argue will) be done with them. Whether knife, gun, baseball bat, or human hands. There's no need making me jump thru hoops or carrying around a silly piece of paper to own one. -

How is that logic any different than saying the same for semi-autos now. Are you ok creating a database for your glock 19 or ruger sp101? After all ... if doing so with autos will help keep them out of the bad guys hands why not keep the current guns out of bad guys hands so easily? -

How does keeping a database in your friends theory create safety or peace of mind? If I wanted to go on a full auto suppressed rage fest with my gun I doubt it would matter much to me whether or not I had a copy of the training certificate with me. Sounds like your friend doesn't want to change much except make it easier to get a hold of them. Nothing about the law now or as proposed would make the weapons, or who has them, safer (have you been to a concealed carry class and felt safer afterwards because those people passed a short test?) -
Second this. iPad or iPhone for me primarily. It's great being able to enjoy the site on the move.

I'm all for it. I wonder if having them readily available would make them loose some of the appeal / desirability. I doubt it. -
I tried to help you out here. Turns out I know a guy that knows guy who would be willing to pose for your pictures. Thing is ... he'll only do them nude, with his 'coon hat and pipe. He's also interested in seeing what the front of the gun looks like when firing so he was hoping you could do a "frontal" view of his "gun."

Maybe you could ask some of your fellow NY komrades to help with your project ... and the least you could do is buy them a large soda for letting you into their home.

True that. If I had the cash, I'd pick it up. It was a hard decision for me last year ... M1A v 716 but went with the M1A. Haven't regretted it at all. Wouldn't mind picking up some of that ammo also ... but alas, out of the state right now. Thanks for the heads up though! Passed the availability on to some of my buds that aren't the forum.

Also seems a little high for the m1a. Bought mine in November for $1200. Granted that was in GA, but $1600 sounds high since the TN prices were about the same. Unless it was one of the fancier models?

Helps with your EDC weight at least?!?

Appreciate the heads up. Wish I had the cash, although pre-panic I found them for a few hundred bucks cheaper. I'm surprised they let you take pics in the store like that!
