  1. We all so vehemently disagree with this logic when applied to the need for increased gun control, but seem so quick (if not hypocritical) with its application to Miranda and unlawful searches of these Bostonian's homes.  Those of us espousing the Constitution and declaring it be "law of the land" need to remember that the Constitution is a collection of (for now) 27 amendments that create 1 document.  If we set aside one amendment to protect more so than others; we are no better than those who try to squash the one amendment (2A) we care about, while protecting some of the others (1A).
  2. Oh come on guys ... it's for your health, and the health of the children
  3. ...Pulled from another thread, but thought it would fit here as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LrbsUVSVl8&feature=player_embedded   As far as I'm concerned ...   the city of Boston, and whatever other official agencies took part in this deserve to go bankrupt over the lawsuits filed regarding these searches; and, IMO, any particular officer that can be nailed down to committing these atrocious acts and searches should be charged criminally.

  5. So we willingly accept US Military cruising the streets pointing automatic weapons at us?  IMO the military shouldn't have been involved in this at all (Posse Comitatus Act), except if the NG was called up for clean-up and disaster relief.   I know what he did was terribly awful and he deserves all of the aforementioned awful punishments we have set forth in this thread; but I am not willing to wave my rights to deny unwarranted search of my property, nor the participation of US military forces involved in civilian law enforcement because someone did something awful.  We all b!t$h and moan when they want to take away our guns (or NY'ers guns) because someone shot up a school, why aren't we all b!i$chin' and moaning because they're taking away another Constitutionally protected right?
  6. Not entirely sure I understand what you're speaking too. But with the iPhone and Photobucket there's a very streamlined way to post pics to forum. 1. Take pic with iPhone 2. Upload to Photobucket with the app 3. Find the pic in the "my stuff" part of the app 4. Touch the "info" button in bottom right 5. Copy the IMG source code from Photobucket 6. Paste the IMG code into the text box of TGO. This will post the picture in your post from your phone just like from your desktop.
  7. Missed the part in history class where they told him the world is round; still thinks its flat and the center of the universe
  8. I don't care what the charge is. I agree with those who say he should be shot dead in the street. But what I do believe, and it seems some of those on here don't agree: is that he deserves the right and considerations allowed him by the Constitution. And lets face it folks, if he gets shipped off to Gitmo he's only gonna end up playing soccer for the rest of his life (or however long the place is open) on our dollars.
  9. often wonders why autocorrect doesn't fix misspellings when he's writing with pencil and paper
  10. Great idea. My bro uses the same one for golfing and shooting. He's much more accurate with a rifle than he is his 9-iron.
  11. I thought you could purchase after noon on Sunday?
  12. Some of the apps made for running/walking will measure distances by GPS using your phone. "MapMyRun" is the one Im thinking about and I use for bikes, runs, etc.; but should work for marking off ranges also.
  13. I guess it's better than going all "David and Goliath" on the Mexican gangs, but I personally prefer my rifles like I prefer my women; with some good-lookin' useful features. This rifle is curvy in all the wrong places ... like an overweight women in low-cut skinny jeans.
  14. ... except that if you put enough pressure on a bubble wrap you get a "pop," or mini explosion, so that will likely also be banned
  15. Me too! I often just browse to look at the pictures. Too often I find myself "needing" to make a trip to TN to meet someone for a trade/purchase.
  16. I'm in ATL right now (hopefully temporarily). Just keep using this forum. GA has a semi-active one, but I only look on that one for firearm classifieds. I haven't seen one nearly as nice as this one. Thanks admins!!
  17. I foresee amnesty also. And lets face it, our election system went to sh!+ a long time ago. How many amendments are we up to now that don't really matter anymore? I wonder if they'll get rid of anti-slavery amendment?!? Oh wait ... they did that with section 8 housing and all other things welfare.
  18. In all seriousness ... We already have cameras in most big cities. And even though the drone thing blew over in the media, I bet that's coming. Further intrusion in our freedoms and infringing on our Constitutional rights (besides just the 2A ... we just saw the 4A go to hell). I imagine well see more data forcibly shared between our healthcare providers and the .gov.
  19. Hmm ... well pretty soon you'll be able to use your EBT card at strip clubs so ... ?
  20. Is Barrett the only manufacturer of the .50 cal sniper rifle? Why just ban that brand?
  21. Figured it out by using the steam release ... admitted to the burn unit immediately afterwards.
