Cops warn Chicago tourists soon will be armed
npgunner replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That's really sad ... As one of the commenters on the article said, these are crimes for the sake of terror. No looting or anything else. This is true "home-grown" domestic terrorism at its finest. -
Sounds like your priorities are out of line ...

If its in the budget, you've got the cash on hand, and you want it ... why not? I would if it was something I was willing to part with that much cash on it. Enjoy the money you've saved how you want to enjoy it. If that's with a $4K 1911 then do it. Whether or not the "improvements" are worth the extra cash is up to you. It'll probably go bang when you pull the trigger just like a $500 dollar model, and like you alluded too, only shoot as well as the guy pulling the trigger. This is about your personal gun collection and if its something you want ansd can afford, go for it. Could you spend $4K on any other number of things that would look pretty in the safe? Sure you could. But get what you want ... and please post pictures.

They already have aggressive knife control in Europe ... and that's what they want us to be so ... it's probably coming.

Was happy to meet broom head and confirm their love in marriage. Best part is they both like to taste the rainbow.

Detroit 2 in 10 years or sooner? Run by state over sight? Sad thing is ... the ones that caused this mess will just move to another city and start all over. It's a disease.

I agree. Good books. Good movie. Hope the 2nd is as good as the first.

It certainly didn't take Rand Paul long

I think his "Minority Report" phrase comes from the Tom Cruise movie / Phillip Dick book of the same title -
Wow man. Doesn't look comfortable by any means. Does the different settings have anything to do with the colors being removed? Or does it require higher setting the more "blown up" bits of ink are under there?

What we've been doing certainly hasn't worked, so why not change game plans. I agree ... the reason these people had time to work on destroy America plans is they have extra time. So lets give them a reason to have to quit plotting and start plowing (or however you grow food over there). I'm sure the same would work for all these people on welfare. When it comes down to die or survive; if you take away the .gov tit (or infrastructure in the Middle East) people will choose to survive. If they want to continue sucking the life out of others they will eventually get the point when someone keeps them from stealing. Not saying this plan will be beautiful and I'm sure it would hurt some feelings ... but I'm beyond caring.

WV T Shirts... Messin' With Liberals

The teacher should be arrested for "disrupting the educational process" (same thing the kid was arrested for) since her lunacy caused him to miss a day of school -
Good points. And I guess in my mind that was part of the idea where the Dems have something going for them. Ground game. Appeal to the younger crowd to ensure generational support. And etc.

MUTs are awesome. I got one for Christmas ... was one of the best presents I got ... besides the 1000 rounds of .223 and 22LR! I keep mine in my range bag / gun area. For EDC I carry the Leatherman Juice S2 in my backpack, and on my keychain the Leatherman Style CS. Used to carry the Squirt but it was a bit thick for my tastes.

I tend to agree ... All this "clean" warfare will never work. The enemy knows how to beat it: hide in the non-combatants. Until we grow a pair and bomb some of these ****ers off this Earth, every terrorist organization in the world (along with the UN, NK, China, etc.) will see us a pansies. Maybe some non-combatants die, maybe they don't. Guilty by association if you harbor the enemy. Either way ... those with ill-intent toward America will be too busy cleaning up there own mess and rebuilding their own country to bother us for another 10-20 years (I'm not a fan of 'rebuilding' other countries). I don't think America needs to be the country that caters to all others' will and wishes. No longer do we need the attitude that "everyone must like us." We just need for the rest of the world to understand that they don't want to mess with us. Now, as far as Reagan goes ... (And for the sake of all involved in this thread I will add this disclaimer: I was not alive when Reagan was President. In fact, I wasn't old enough to care about politics until well after the Clinton administration (my first vote was Bush-2 the second time). I've read some of his stuff, as well as some stuff about him.) I'll give it to you that the guy was a good orator. His acting was (from what I've seen) not so great. He made Republican American's feel great about themselves and America. He may have made some bad decisions (in the eyes of his detractors), and may have made some good decisions (in the eyes of his supporters). His legacy is what the media and people of those times have made it to be. ... now take what I just said, and read it this way: Obama is a good orator. He makes Democratic/Liberal American's feel great about themselves and America. He has made some bad decisions (in the eyes of Republicans), and has made some good decisions (in the eyes of Democrats). His legacy will be what the media and the people of now make it to be. I quite frankly am tired of the Republican's "all-hail-Reagan" attitude. Let's quit relishing what he may/may not have done and stop lusting for a reincarnation. We need to follow suit of the Democrats and become future focused; find some young conservative candidates that will brandish the message of Conservative America. We need to show "them" that the message of free market Capitalism and true freedom from the .gov oversight/tyranny is the best way for all to live in harmony. Now if we can find someone that will put that message out there even half as passionately, and half as skillfully as Reagan spoke his message, then I think we'd be in for a winner.
