Hmm, that's interesting ... I'm sure the signs at the Memphis and Nashville ones are the same, but I thought it said to check all guns (I don't pay that much attention to it, not do I comply). My BPro gun purchasing experiences happened a few years ago, and it was a handgun. The guy carried it out to the door for me. Maybe it was because he removed the lock at the gun counter. Who knows, either way, it doesn't rattle any sensitivities on my part and I'm happy to let him carry it to the door for me assuming he doesn't make a run for it when we get out there!

welcome to TGO!

I tend to agree with your line of logic, but it may have something to do with the liability insurance they keep? Not sure, just a guess ... I personally still shop at these places (gun stores with that sign). Moss Pawn & Jewelry in Atlanta, GA (of YouTube fame) mentioned it in a video that even though they post that sign, they won't hassel you for CC in the store. Just don't be pointing loaded guns at people that don't need it. On another topic ... do you shop at places like Bass Pro? While they aren't technically posted, they do expect you to check your firearm at the customer service desk when you walk in. Also, when you purchase a gun from them, they escort you out of the store and you can't have the gun until you cross the threshold.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/05/13/justice-department-secretly-obtains-ap-phone-records/ I've only seen this on Fox so far. Looks like the AP is all in a tizzy because they figured out someone in the WH / DOJ is pulling phone records and no one will say why. Don't know how to interpret it, but if the media were a bit more shy and critical of the .gov it wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I realize this isn't the topic of this thread ... but when asked for a number by a local merchant I frequently give out a good friends number and say please call me with marketing. HAHAHAHA This started because he did the same to me.

Oh ... I think I'm starting to see their point. It really makes since after that video. My new war chant: "Arm the criminals! Arm the criminals!"

I think so. For some reason Pandora will buffer pretty well for me (Sprint iPhone 5) where as a lot of other apps won't (iHeart and YouTube for instance). Everything has been deleted, updated, reinstalled, and even a trip to Sprint store to see why and no answer. It kind of embarrassed the Sprint guy when the phone wouldn't load IN the sprint store. Needless to say I'm just waiting out the end of my contract now ...

I think it's likely Sprint data as I have the problem even sitting in one tower zone. As mentioned above Sprint network isn't known for excellent data speeds. Also, I never had this problem on AT&T service, and I have a friend who uses Verizon. It's really frustrating driving around and being like "hey uh, my phone sucks can we use yours to listen to music?"

No problems with mine. Mostly preference now a days. Glock has good factory customer service. Can always take it by the shop and they'll inspect, clean, upgrade, and fix while you wait. Heck they'll even give you some freebies too (calendars, magazines, etc.; no guns sadly). Easy for me to say though since I live in Atlanta right now; although would make a good pilgrimage for anyone that likes the brand.

Personally use pandora. My bro uses spotify and Im considering the switch, but to use the mobile version you must be a paying customer. I've got some really good stations on pandora though. I've thumbs up/down so much that now I just get mostly up'd songs on my stations. It does seem to "cross station" some like you mention (will bring in up'd songs from another station in an unrelated station). With regards to your sprint issue. My phone does the same. Regardless whether I'm in the middle of Nashville or Atlanta. iHeart just doesn't stream well for some reason on mobile data (does fine on wifi or land line at home). It does no good on 3G spots or LTE for me. It'll stream a few minutes and then cut out. I can't tell you how many times the phone has almost joined the road rubbish on I40 because it cuts out during the best parts of talk radio. Ugh. Anyway. I stick to pandora or podcasts for driving, but do like iHeart at home.

I don't agree with this at all ... Who needs a car capable of going over 75 MPH? After all, that's the speed limit. Why would you need a car that could go that fast unless you were trying to break the law? The left is coming for guns regardless of what we give them. I'd rather fight my battle on one front (the left) and quit being so dad burned worry about a flank attack from statist right wingers who also believe they know what I "need."

Sitting in the Allen Arena at Lipscomb University's graduation. Just watched my little bro walk across the stage for his Doctoral degree. Lets all say congrats to a fellow gun owner, Glock fanatic, and new pharmacist; Dr. smithra89.
