1.
I agree Mark. But it happens with firearms, boats, houses and vehicles (in some cases). Why not DUI? Sir, taking their license is not working. Take their car and pay them for it, they'll buy another with change left for more beer. Take their car and give them nothing...at least it will give them something to think about. Now I'm not talking the guy who had a beer on the way home from work. I'm talking about the person who is so damn stinking drunk they can't stand up. Better yet, if they are driving on a suspended license from a previous DUI, Take the car, sell it and donate the money to MADD. DaveS Crack'a American
Because taking guns from criminals has worked so well for keeping guns away from criminals. Lets apply the same logic to cars now? Really what you should be supporting is common sense legislation to make it more difficult for anyone to get a car. Background checks for car owners. No private sales or trades at the car show. Ban the high capacity gas tanks!! It's for the children! It's for SAFETY!!
2. +1; can someone enlighten us those that couldn't make it today? Thanks ahead of time!
3. So it would be safe to make the objective observation that TrickyNicky liked a little d**ky picky?!?
4. Yea ... that's tricky. Like a post for its wit, and be accused for liking because of the male strippers.

Best Pizza

How come no one has mentioned CiCi's?!? HAHA. Haha. Jk. Although ... there is something to be said for buffet of pizza.
6. For the gentlemen here who prefer their guns (and uh ... "guns") to be handled by other gentlemen. http://www.pinkpistols.org/?q=node/4
7. All this talk of cheese and guns made me think to pull out my Mexican made 1911 model cheese gun that I purchased at the Birmingham Kohl's a few years back.
8. 9 mm is clearly the superior self defense round. Also ... I like cheese too; and Waffle House will always be better than IHOP.
9. I offer into evidence on behalf of @RobertNashville
10. I agree with this. After googling the "no refusal" a bit it seems that they maybe should re-brand what they're doing. No refusal sounds as if I pull up to the checkpoint and have no ability to refuse search of my car or taking some DUI test regardless of whether or not there is suspicion of being intoxicated. If I understand it correctly ... the "no refusal" part only applies after the LEO has actually arrested you. If that's true then it doesn't bother me. If its true that the LEO can get a rubber stamped "warrant" to force me to blow into some machine just because I drive down the wrong road this weekend, then I have a problem with it; but I also don't agree with DUI checkpoints or a lot of other things done in the name of "safety."
11. I've seen plenty of pictures of pretty women holding good beer from Germany. So maybe you got 3 things to look forward too? Son, beer, and foreign women?
12. Sad day for her. Hope it turns out ok.    In a perfect world, the situation should be handled this way: TSA: Sir/Mam, did you realize there is a weapon in your luggage? Passenger: No sir I didn't.  I am the legal owner of the weapon and have my CCW-permit for it.  I would be happy to show it to you. TSA: Thank you.  I appreciate it.  Since you haven't passed security yet, I will give you the option to a.) be arrested or b.) take your luggage back and secure the weapon either in your car, or by giving it to a family member; and come back through the security checkpoint when you do not have the weapon with you.  Passenger: Thank you sir.   I don't see the need to arrest someone over a mistake like this.  If they wanted to shoot up the airplane, I doubt they would go secure the firearm willingly.
13. So if I'm just driving down the road and happen upon one of these "no refusal" check points I should be happy that the police are forcing me to blow into their machine?  And if not they'll get a rubber stamped "warrant" just because I said no. Oh riiiiight ... its in the name of "safety."  And it's "good for the children" that people aren't driving drunk.   ... seems legit to me ... :screwy:   You guys probably agree with this logic for gun control too right?
14. I guess to some extent how "thin" your wallet is will depend on what all you keep in it ... http://youtu.be/9sz2HDRJkUQ
15. I've been looking at these.  Haven't pulled the trigger, but hoping the wife will pick one up for me for Christmas.   http://bellroy.com/

17. Can I have a free Obama-Glock? When is that program rolling out? Or maybe I can buy some of all that ammo they've been buying?
18. I agree. Being high on drugs you choose to take will never be an acceptable defense in my mind. From what I understand ketamine isn't that difficult to get. I've known of several anesthesia providers that have lost their license to practice because of it. It's also used in veterinary medicine a lot. On the street some people call it "vitamin K" or "special K."
19. The true question is why would anyone buy anything besides a Glock?
20. Took me a minute to realize you weren't talking news channels. :squint:
