1. What are the upgrades?
2. I actually saw one of these in an LGS around the Nashville area.  Not sure which one it was.  The only one's I've been into lately are G&L Hendersonville, Reloader's Bench, and Academy in Mt. Juliet.  The only thing I thought when I saw it was "huh, that's like a mini .380 Beretta Nano or something" and moved along.  Not too bad of a price though, I'm not sure how comfortable the thing would be to shoot.
3. Plans to vote for Lamar Alexander
4. Here's what I've seen that was released in 2013. I saw most of these from Redbox or on Amazon Instant. I don't go to the theatre that frequently.   Movies I would see again: Kick-Ass 2 Captain Phillips Hunger Games: Catching Fire   Movies I wasn't disappointed with, would not pay to see again, but would watch again if it was free: WWZ Admission Machete Kills Identity Thief The Heat   Movies that were disappointing, but not an entire waist of my time: Great Gatsby Hangover 3 Olympus has Fallen This is the End   Movies I wish I hadn't watched, complete waist of life: Red Dawn The Purge   I did not see these movies, but if any of y'all have, would appreciate a review: We're the Millers Internship   I did not watch Movie 43, but have seen the first scene and its pretty funny. Here's a link (warning: there's no curse words or nudity, but I wouldn't wanna be seen watching it where I work): http://www.toilettehumor.com/funny_adult_videos/the_blind_date.shtml

7.
I think we ought to quit withholding payroll taxes. Make everyone write one check on April 15th and then immediately follow it with Election Day on April 16. Term limits would be a self-correcting problem.
This! ... elections don't necessarily have to be next day in my book. But Americans would care way more of they actually felt the impact of their taxes. Not noticing several thousand dollars slip away a little bit at a time over the year is way different than one big tax bill every April. Someone once told me that % tax that sparked the Revolutionary War was significantly less than what the average American is taxed now. Of course, getting rid of the income tax would never make it through Congress no matter how "conservative" the Congress was.
8. now your just bragging
9. I got my actual renewal and the temporary letter on the same day. Mailed mine in in early November, got it before Thanksgiving!
10. sweet
11. Looks like a bunch of entitled rich white kids beating up on a poor black guy. Oh the injustice! Justice for Trayvonte!! (that's the black guys name according to the video). Edit: please note the sarcasm
12. Mailed mine off today
13. I figured MDA was the type of group that was anti McD on some nutritional obesity cancer soap box. What do they care if us fat uneducated McD eaters have a gun?
14. i too like the two tone look   you could get it all grey and i'm sure the slightly different shades you'd end up with would allow you to name it the "50-shades of grey" rifle
15. I bought the LCR back when they only made the .38 version.  Have never shot its bigger brother.  I don't have a problem with standard or +P ammo out of the thing, but I bet shooting .38 ammo through the .357 would be a pretty sweet experience.  I've read enough "range day recaps" of other people shooting magnums out of the thing to know that's not something I'd plan on doing frequently enough.     Glad you enjoy the gun.  I plan on holding on to mine for a long time!
16. no prob. i've seen the holiday select in different places ... some have it out on the shelf, some behind the counter, some it's one of those things you have to "ask" for.   not sure why, it wasn't particularly expensive. $59 if i remember correctly?
17.
We tried Pappy last night. I honestly can't tell you what I expected, but I was a little disappointed. It's a good bourbon but I've had $40-$50 bottles I liked just as well. My brother in laws 'liquor guy' gave it to him so we weren't overly sad about it. I need a good bottle for Christmas Eve, any of you tried JD Sinatra?
I've got a bottle but haven't opened it yet. JD also has a "holiday select" out that is cheaper than the Sinatra. Both come in neat display boxes, but can't personally vouch for either yet.

Glock 42

You guys are silly. I got some inside intel I'm really not supposed to share ... but they're going to introduce 2 new models at the SHOT show. The 42 a "microstack" 9mm, capacity 5 rounds with a 3.4 inch barrel. And the G21R, their first foray into revolvers. Here's a couple inside scoop pics I got the last time I was down there. 20.
I got mine yesterday, but just now getting a chance to check it out. It's pretty cool! Lots of tools in a small package. Thanks, Secret Santa!!
I'm a big fan of this leather man. EDC it on my keychain. Nice knife, tweezers, and scissors, along with a few other things!
21.
Those banned Big Gulps are really having an impact...
Everyone is thirsty and tired of carrying around 4 small drinks to make up what used to be 1 large one ...
22. I like the flip over the red ball
23. any idea where i can find pappy any year in nashville? none of the 4-5 places i check regularly have it
24. Hopefully not just on the Devil's Cut ... you've got some other things to help out also correct?  Happy Birthday by the way ... old guy! bahaha    Edit:  not to say Devil's Cut isn't great or that it is "below me" (it's not, I enjoy it also); but surely you don't have enough of this one particular type to last all weekend?!
25. Wife: gift card for maid service Mother: gift card for TPAC, probably some gift basket of misc "smell good" type of things (the wife handles this) Friend 1: Lowe's gift card and some Caribbean Cask Belvenie scotch  Friend 2: unclear at this point, we usually just go to the stores and find something we want and buy it while each other is there   For my father and brother I can't say because they are active members of the forum
