Don't deny them from buying a gun so it doesn't blow the FBI's cover. Instead just flag it and make it #1 top priority for the agency investigate it immediately.

Maybe it's time for Tump to be that big negotiator.... So let's say we give in and allow people on the terrorist watch list to get denied a gun or alt least flag it for a follow up. That's OK if you have a reasonable process to get off that list if it's really a mistake and if you are a terrorist tough. If we're going to give up on something they need to give up on something. So let's trade that for removing Suppressors from the NFA.

If you are on a no fly and terror watch list and you buy a gun there should be a red flag somewhere that says "Maybe you want to look into this guy you are already looking into". That doesn't mean you get denied for being on the list but it at least raises an eyebrow. That being said there has to be a process in which you can get off these lists instead of putting you on it and not being able to get off because you have a similar name.

I can't say I have that problem.   My wife has bought me a lot of guns over the years.   She works in law enforcement and the guys sometimes get together for group buys of guns and gear.  She usually buys me what they are buying.   Usually when I get a gun she has bought a something expensive too.    As long as bills are being paid and some money is being put back she doesn't care what I buy and I'm the same.

In the last month I've come across a Winchester Small Pistol primer that would not go bang in a Glock 17, 19, 34, or a Berettal 92fs. I had a Remington 7 1/2 bench rest primer that would not go bang In a Kinber .223, m700, or a Colt AR15. I can't help but wonder if these are quality control issues related to running high volumes catching up with demand.

I'm doing research for a new chronograph.  I can tell you that the RCBS chronograph is the biggest pain in the ass to use.  I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I've tried it both ways on my plinking ammo and I can't tell a difference.   My bolt guns on the other hand are tumbled for about 30 minutes and the they are neck sized and deprimed and go back in the tumbler for a few hours.    I think I'm going to try a wet tumbler soon.  For those that have them are they noisy or about the same as a tumbler?

He is a good friend.   Also gave me his dad's MEC Sizemaster to use for a while.   They used to shoot skeet and trap as a family and they would spend the off season loading for when they were shooting.   He said he has 5 gallon buckets of stuff they loaded so he wouldn't need it for a while.  I'm working on filling a few buckets my self and then we will probably trade that thing back and fourth.    It does pass the sniff test..  It has a very pleasant gun power smell.  :)

I have a metal can of Dupont IMR-4350 that was given to me by a friend.  His dad used to reload in the 80s but he passed away in the late 90s.   The can was unopened until last night when I opened it.  It smells like gun powder and looks like gun powder.   The top of the can has a little surface rust but it's remained sealed.   I do know that his dad's reloading room was in their finished basement so there should not have been any wild temp changes   I'm loading for a 7mm Rem Mag with a 139g Hornady SST.   I've loaded 25 routes starting at the minimum load of 52.9g and worked up in .3 increments so I'm far away from the 59.7g max load.       Starting with the minimum loads should I be concerned about this power?

I've never had a problem with dropping shot on top of powder on my Sizemaster but I do occasionally skip the shot drop and crimp a wad on powder with no shot.  Those are defiantly noticeable.   

I was loading some 12 Gauge #9 Skeet loads yesterday and I got to wondering.  What would happen if you dropped powder and then shot without a wad in between?   I did some Googling and couldn't find an answer.   Would it spit the shot out or blow up the gun?  

  The dimple appeared to be the same as the others that preceded it.  It looked like it was seated the same as the rest and now I wish had separated it from the others to get a better look when I got home.  That trip I was just running rounds through the chronograph so I only shot about 50-60 rounds that trip and that one was somewhere in the middle.  

    I'm not sure which one it was.  I kind of figured that out of the millions and millions of primers they make one has to be bad here and there.   I'm still relatively new to reloading so this is probably 1 bad primer in my first 1000 to 1500 rounds loaded in my life time.   I've got 5-10k primers in each size I reload so I'm not planning on changing anytime soon.   

I had a Winchester Large Pistol Primer (WLP) not fire on me earlier this week.   I was testing some loads on a chronograph and I had a round that just went Click and no Bang.  I pulled it out and there was a dimple on the primer so I put it back in the gun and pulled the trigger and got a bang.   I looked at the primer and the pin struck on the same spot and went off the second time.    This was on a Glock 30.

My wife is driving a KIA Optima Hybrid.  It's getting about 30Mpg but it should get 40+ but neither of us can keep our foot off the gas like we should.  It's been a great car but we're going to have to sell it because both of our mothers are in wheel chairs now and they both have a hard time getting in and out of it.   My wife decided she wants a 2015 Tahoe so I'm going to miss the good gas milage.

I was once in Academy and this moron was looking at a gun.  He picked it up looked at it and aimed it my way.  I grabbed the end of the gun pointed it away and said "If you don't understand why I'm doing this you have no business owning a gun because you are a F***in moron" and walked off.   I could hear him saying to the counter guy "What was his problem? I don't see why he should be so upset" and the counter guy said "That guy was probably right".   I will almost always make a comment when some jack hole is standing at the counter waving it around.  

Sounds like an opportunity for the conspiracy theorist to thing this is really a way for the police to watch who's selling guns to who and record the exchange.  

I got an email from Midway USA recently that was free Hazmat on Winchester primer orders over $150.

I have 3 guns I carry often though I do cycle through almost all of them through out the year.  Primarily I carry a Glock 30, Glock 17, or a Beretta Nano.  Most of the depends on where I'm going and what I'm wearing.   I only cary concealed so depending on what I'm wearing I'll pick my gun.   Day to day around my office I usually carry a Glock.  When I go to the corporate office I usually carry the Nano.  Only the people who know me well in that office know that I carry.  

  I had to go to New Jersey a few years ago for a week of Radvision Training.  I made sure that I brought everything back.  That way I made sure there was no reason to go back.

RCBS / Redding / Forster...     I've used the RCBS in .223 and I like the cut out that I can drop the bullet in but I've never used the Redding or Forster seating dies.   I've just made up some ladder loads for the .223 so I don't know exactly what kind of performance I'll get yet.  I'm looking for a seating die for my 7mm Rem Mag.   The RCBS is about $40 cheaper than the Redding and Forster but I'm not buying based on price.   Has anyone had any experience with multiple brands of Competition Seating Dies?  

I've got about a dozen of the Liberty branded hangers.  The biggest pistol they will hold is my Glock 34.   I tried one of my Pythons and Anacondas but they sagged too much and I was afraid of opening the safe and one falling out in the floor.
