Seems like I remember watching a news story at one time this would happen in Georgia.  The problem was that they would report the lapse or expiration of insurance to the state and the state would suspend the driver's license.  Then when the insurance was back enforce they didn't always report that to the state and some people wound up in jail for driving on a suspended license.

  I refuse to believe that they can't find anyplace to get 22lr at a reasonable price.  There are plenty of small shops out there are managing to find some stock even if it's limited. If dlm37015 is still getting it cheap enough to sell at $30/500 then it's still out there at a reasonable price.

  If they were in the $300-400 range I would have thought it was very high but not gouging since that's the ball park of what I am seeing them on gunbroker.com

  I went to the Dalton Gun Show last weekend.  There was a guy there with 5 or 6 Stag stripped lowers with a sign that hyped the gun grabbing.  He had a real deal, $1,000.00 Each or 3 for $2,500.00.  He had one of the few tables where no one was even slowing down to look at what he had to sell.

 I don't have a problem with a markup because of high demand as long as it is reasonable.  I can't see where 400+% is even remotely reasonable.

I stopped by Shooter's Depot this afternoon (North GA Location) and saw they were selling 500 Bulk pack for $85/box and stripped AR uppers for over $600-650 each.  Just about everything they had that has a remote chance of making it to an AWB is considerably higher than normal.  I for one think we should all remember who is taking advantage of the public.

I doubt you will be asked that question as part of a routine examination.  If you go in and you are suffering from severe depression or some other mental problem then you should be asked that question.

I think what we have learned today is that he knows he can't use an Executive Order to ban any guns nor can he use it to limit magazines.  If he thought he could he would have done it.  

  He nominated the guy that's already doing the job.

  The biggest problem with the Tea Party is that in the amount of time it would take them to replace the republican party the Democrats will have an overwhelming power to do what the hell they want.   Right now the Tea Party strengthens the Democratic party because there are a lot of upset Republicans who jumped ship to the Tea Party.

      I am just fine with every one of those recommendations.  So let's give them those four items and call it even. 

The only way any of these laws would really last is if the state in question can support it's self without any federal help.   If they passed a law the feds would just withhold funding until the got their way.  

I read somewhere that no one going to introduce a bill until they saw exactly what Obama wanted to do.   

  If the government pays the fee then it's not free.     You can close the gun show loophole which is really just going to effect stranger to stranger sales.  It's not going to do much for friend to friend, family member to family member, or criminal to criminal transfers. 

  The media cares about one thing and that's ratings.  it's almost all media.  MSNBC is an extension of the Democratic Party where Fox News is the same for the Republican Party.  They all thrive off of negative news and the love to get their viewers (often the retired who sit a home with nothing else better to do) all riled up over little to nothing.  It's just like a TV show where they get you up on the edge of your seat and then cut to a commercial.  

  At one time it was the Clinton News Network.   With the exception of their "Talk Shows" they have moved to the middle of the three.  Watch MSNBC on a Sunday morning and you will see just how anti American they are.

  I am sure it's not protected in the same way that you can't yell "FIRE!" in a theater.  You can't expet to not hear from someone when you make death threats on Youtube.   His CCW is SUSPENDED not REVOKED which means he could get it back with a hearing.

I too read several places yesterday that it's not possible to out right ban guns with an Executive Order.  He can do things like increase punishments, broaden what is checked in a background check to buy a gun, i.e. look into mental health, etc. and probably close the gun show loophole.  He can also probably act on high capacity magazines because that alone is not protected by the constitution.

I always thought the main reasons for a trust is to make conveying items to other members easier and to circumvent CLEOs who drag their feet on signing off.
